Without music, life would be a mistake
Where: The plaza, and areas around it
Who: Lea and whoever comes across him
When: Mid-morning to noon
Style: Whatever!

Sure, he had figured that SOMETHING was due to happen. It was just that kind of feeling he had in his gut. Besides, all the speculation everyone was having on the network made sense. Things only seemed calm in Vatheon; behind the scenes, he knew things were brewing.
It's just... Who the heck expects to wake up as a bug?
A very... very... large bug. And initially, it had been kind of cool although embarrassing how clumsy he was. But then... it was quiet. Just, there was too much silence. The noise didn't help. It was just, stupid, useless noise. He tried to get over it, even threw out a message or two to people.
But it was just too much. Fairly quickly, Lea started to realize the signs. Hell, the last time this place had changed him into something else like this, it had taught him a lesson. Obviously he couldn't stay around the Nest or with his chocobos or Arden, or else he would do something he'd regret.
And that, dear Vatheon, is how you have a giant bug in the plaza, trying to scurry away only to stop now and then, twitching madly. At one point, he even leaps at a couple's table- not for the couple, but for a radio playing music which he desperately clings to awkwardly with his weird... tiny... bug hand things.
This is so not going to be his week.
[ooc: For the curious, Lea is now one of the Rachni from Mass Effect! Specifically one of the soldiers. They don't do well individually. Hivemind and all. For a size reference, check here.]

It's with that in mind that she takes out her harp and begins to play the Sun's Song, a jaunty tune that's rather difficult to ignore even on a gentle instrument like the harp.]

[Slowly, he turns to face the direction the music is coming from and begins to advance towards it, posture nonthreatening. The radio dangles a bit helplessly from his fingers. Without even thinking about it, he starts to make sounds in return, sad and lonely sounds.]

Can you understand me...?

[He nods his head, and one tentacle-pod presses forward to present itself to her. On it, the tattoo all Vatheon foreigners have is placed there.]

You were transformed, then. Do we know each other?

ITT Mandie will spend forever finding songs to talk to the rachni
[It's times like these that Zelda's social life catches up with her. She's met countless people here, she can't even begin to guess who this might be! Still, whoever it is, she'll help them. If she were to be transformed into a monster, she'd want someone to look out for her and make sure she didn't commit any atrocities. She'd done it for Duke as a sphinx, and she would do it for this bug creature, too. Unconsciously her song changes to one that she feels she might get answers from.]
We need to figure out what you eat. If you're already having difficulty controlling yourself... it wouldn't do to have you doing something like this that you'll regret. You appear to be some sort of insect...

[Speaking of...]
[Shifting forward, he just jabs gestures at the harp.]

[Her voice is starting to sound a little sing-song as she continues to play and speak. She can't help it!]
Some insects communicate with music, too. Crickets do, for example. Though you do not much look like a cricket. Can you open your mouth for me? Maybe I can determine if you are carnivorous or not.

[The request to open his mouth would make him raise an eyebrow if he still had any left. He's only seen himself in the reflections of windows, but he's pretty sure it's a whole lot of ugly. Still, for the greater good! Doing his best now.]
[There are indeed sharp teeth, and the Rachni obviously are a very aggressive species. It kind of shows in their entire body structure. However, if Zelda inspects closely, she might notice some more omnivorous tendencies in there. Evolution has made this insect grow to withstand horrible conditions, and sometimes that means not being picky eaters.]

Well, as far as I can tell your diet isn't particularly specialized. I can walk and play, would you like to follow me? We'll get you something to eat.

[Making an excited noise in the back of his throat, he sticks close. All you, music lady, all you.]

Do you know where your SFC is? Perhaps I could put the Song of Healing on it... it should have an effect even if I'm not playing it directly...
