Who: Yuugi and you!
Where: The Plaza
When: Afternoon
Style: The style is LET'S DO THIS. (I'll match.)
Status: Open
When he awoke, it was by the annoying green light of his alarm clock. Wait. No it wasn't. It was everywhere. His clock was not that big. Rolling over and attempting to open his eyes and oh god he was falling and that was the ground, ow. Ow. Ow. Wait, why was he all wet?
"What the heck is going on here?"
Yuugi hissed as he rose, examining his newly-scuffed hand. As well as a newly tattooed wrist? Holy shit, what was that?!
It took about about five minutes of vigorous rubbing to realize the weird symbol on his hand wasn't coming off anytime soon. He'd been certain he had fallen asleep in his room- and that he wasn't drunk when he did. This was getting more and more dreamlike.
His first assumption was Atlantis. Maybe something like the memory RPG, but for Dartz. All blue, for one thing. The sky was... not the sky. All right, that was new. Sucking on his scratches, he looked out at the rest of the plaza. Surprisingly, yes, everyone could see him, and no, he wasn't transparent. This became even more obvious when he decided to test his solidness. It hurt, and now everyone was looking at him.
Great.
He'd thought that things like this would stop happening after his other self left, but it looked like he'd never be entirely free of weird adventures. To be honest, though, that was completely fine by him. The priority right now was finding his friends. They had to be around here somewhere, and knowing their luck, they probably needed his help. He could worry about all this other weirdness after he'd found them.
All right, so no sign of any of his friends yet. It wasn't a dream, as attempting to float, or walk through anything hadn't been... fruitful, to say the least. Yuugi glanced at the starfish thing in his hand, and couldn't help but feel sort of insulted. He had tried to control his hair before, it just never worked! Not to mention, whoever had trapped him here had an incredibly crappy sense of humor.
So far this had proved to be massively different. from anything he'd experienced before.
Looking out at the NPCs (assuming this was a game, because, wasn't it always), Yuugi decided to start gathering information. First of all, what was the point of this game, second of all, who, exactly, was the GM?

Link pauses midstride, pausing to grab a towel before hurrying over to Yuugi. "Hey!" he calls as he approaches, offering a friendly smile, "Did you just arrive?"

Half right.Link peers at the mark, then nods, showing Yuugi the back of his left hand (there's the faint image of three triangles beneath it, but only with very close examination). "All of the people who are brought here have one of those. There's some people who are from Vatheon, but everyone from different worlds has one of these somewhere."Shrugging, he drops his hand again. "They're useful, though. If you show the shopkeepers your mark, you can get free things."

Ruca approached Yuugi slowly and rather timidly.
"Um... you just arrived here... didn't you?"
Re: action;
Re: action;
He looked away.
"Sorry... I'm always like this."
Especially when he meets new people.
Re: action;
Re: action;
"Um... My name is Ruca Milda. It's nice to meet you."
Have a very hesitant handshake.
Re: action;
"So... can you tell me anything about this Vatheon place? No one else has really... given me any decent hints."
Re: action;
He knew it must have sounded ridiculous.

Hey! Hi there! Are you new?
Re: action;
I- yeah, I am. And who are you?

[ Have a flipper paw offered for that handshake though, kid with the funky hairdo. ]
Re: action;
Hi Mokona, I'm Yuugi! It's nice to meet you.

He approaches carefully enough. "Hey, you're new huh? Well. I won't be the first or last to say this- but welcome to Vatheon." A little strained, he knows. He's getting over living by himself still. "I'm John."

"I'm er, Yuugi. Nice to meet you, John. So this place is called Vatheon... Do you have any idea how I got here?"
no subject
"Well. No one is really sure how anyone got here. But I believe it has something to do with the locals and that coral in the middle of the plaza." John shrugged. "Until further notice you are stuck here."

"I've heard that. But..." He started, draping another towel over his shoulders, "I've heard people get zapped outta here, too. I know there has to be a reason for that, and I'm gonna find it. I have people to get home to, I mean."
forgive the late, sorry!
"See, I'm in the middle of this big festive pile of crazy back home. We all have something going down I think."
