A Wayward Savior
Who: Patroklos & Whomever finds him
When: Midday
Where: Plaza (Or rather wandering away from the main plaza)
Style: Prose & action both welcomed
Status: Open
[ If it hadn't been for the unusual kindness of a local woman, Patroklos would have never stirred from consciousness. The blond had to have been out for a few minutes, fifteen at max. The one who solidly nailed him in the back of his head with that book was long forgotten by him. However, the dull headache he now sports won't allow him to forget that he was bested by a mere book. Wobbly rising to his feet as he clutched his head in dire distress, Patroklos eyes widened once caught glimpse of the blue-silver blade. Laying right before his feet was none other than the coveted Soul Calibur gleaming in all its brilliance. Staring at the sword with mild wonder, Patroklos hesitated to reach for it. ]
That sword...
[ His voice was laced with agony. ]
It's more than what it seems to be.
[ Unsure what to do now, Patroklos gingerly picked up the spirit sword by its hilt and sheathed it once more. ]
...nhhm...
[ Now holding his head with both hands once the headache intensified, Patroklos slowly began to walk down the avenue aimlessly. ]

[He made his way there now, walking without any particular hurry.]

...My word!
[ He blinked his eyes a few times in sheer disbelief. ]
Y-You're a beast!
no subject
Oh, so--huh?
[Oh boy. It was one of those humans. He'd run into this a few times since getting here, but it had been a while. Just as awkward to go about handling as ever, though. Where to even start...]
And you're new, I'm guessing.
no subject
[ Completely fascinated with the creature's fluffy ears, Patroklos leaned over to try to pet the fox man. ]
I never thought that creatures could master human tongue and with such ease at that!
no subject
Human ton--no, there's something that transl--wait wait, let's go over this slowly.
[Taking steps away to try and and avoid the...contact, Fox puts out his arms before taking a hand to his temple.]
Let me guess, you're from an Earth?

As soon as Lili recovered to compose herself, she immediately threw a fit.]
How dare you interrupt me in my meditative contemplation?
no subject
Meditative contemplation?
[ He arched his brow as he glanced over towards the glass display. ]
Oh, spare me the theatrics. You was just ogling those tacky dresses!

[Lili, flustered from being disgraced in public, immediately rose into the defensive to save face. Clearly, she was just itching for a fight. Her stay so far in Vatheon had been far too peaceful and she was looking for any opportunity to trade blows with anyone. This came close enough.
She cut through the air with her hand in an elegant arc, followed by a graceful kick - each movement followed by a trail of glowing pink petals. As her foot landed to the ground, she entered her fighting stance and laughed gleefully obviously proud of herself]
I will prove my worth!
no subject
...Surely you jest.
no subject
How dare you not take me seriously? You will rue the day you crossed me.
[And with that, she charged]
Have at you!!

Do you need help?
no subject
Y-Yes. I don't believe this headache is going to take it's leave anytime soon...
no subject
[That must be a really impressive headache, if it's making this man react like that, Gale reasons. He's never seen someone acting so incapacitated because of something like that.]
no subject
So in truth, this headache is more likened to a serious migraine or worse a mind concussion. ]
Beggars cannot be choosers, right? I'll go.
no subject
Especially when limited to Vatheon, though I believe there are several here with healing abilities.

Generally it's frowned on to fight as you have here. Are you both alright?
no subject
...Ah, of course. I didn't mean for that to get so...out of hand. However, I trust that we're both fine or least I am.
no subject
I hope so, and that your disagreement won't be a continual problem. It's better to have semblance of law and order, even here, I think.
no subject
[ Being that he wields the fabled spirit sword, Patroklos certainly views himself as the upholder of peace. ]
However, if threatened, surely a knight such as yourself shan't judge me too harshly for taking action.
no subject
[ Ky can't completely tell, but he's sure that he hasn't ever seen this man before. ]
And I hope that your behavior in the future will support your words.
[ Ky is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. ]

[Spider came back to him, now wearing pants and a jacket, but no shirt. He's managed to get some cigarettes, and is smoking one now. He also got something else. He takes a sip from a flask and hands it to Patroklos, a gesture of goodwill. Quite a different attitude than their first meeting, but then again it's spider initiating this time. ]
Here. It'll help with the head.
no subject
It's you!
[ A frown settled on the Athenian's face as he glowered at that uncouth reporter with scorn. However, once the man offered his flask to him, Patroklos' heated glare simmered down. ]
...I certainly hope it will.
[ He grumbled as he begrudgingly snatched the flask out of Spider's hand. ]
What is it?
no subject
[Good ole' rotgut. Spider just got something strong and poorly made, he's not literally giving him rat urine. Any other character and I doubt I'd even have to explain that. Jerusalem waits for the man to have a drink before speaking again, a single unexplained word.]
Sixteen.
no subject
Ye gods! This is just disgusting...
[ Whining to himself now, Patroklos almost missed the word that Spider suddenly uttered. ]
Huh? Sixteen what?
no subject
I've killed sixteen people. Fifteen of those in self defense.
[He didn't push any further. Better to wait and see if this warrior anachronism would open up without further proding. Also, he wasn't sure if that guy with the book is still around.]
