[Ryu yawns a little, and opens his eyes slowly. He has to see what happened after he transformed... he can only vaguely remember Nina hugging him and trying to get him to calm down. It's light... so it must be morning.]

[... And he sits up, and realizes a few things. First, his blanket is gone. Second, his clothes and bag are next to him. Third, he's not in the abandoned village anymore. Fourth, he's wet.]

[Ryu yelps, standing up and looking around him. He's confused and distressed at all of this water around him, and he hasn't even thought to put on his clothes yet. ... Whoops?]

[New arrivals are par for the course around this time of the month. Naked new arrivals, well... Zelda pushes a towel towards Ryu to cover himself with wordlessly. Goddesses, why? Why did she have to look?!]

[Johnny is more than amused by the sight before him. People freaked out when he was walking around the plaza shirtless, he can only imagine the entertainment with this.

The vampire sauntered up to meet this new person, a towel he had snatched from nearby in his hand.]

You might want this, being wet is only fun in certain circumstances. You must have just arrived~

[Ryu just looks at her in confusion, and then looks down at the towel. Oh. Right. He picks up his clothes and starts pulling on his pants. After those are on, he grabs the towel and wipes himself off. 8( Stupid water.]

... Thank you.

[Ryu takes the towel and dries himself off, nodding.]

... Where is this? Where are the villagers?

O-of course.

[Is it safe to look now? Oh, good, he has his pants on.]

You just arrived, I take it? I can't say I've ever seen someone pulled in without their clothing, before. This is Vatheon.

[ Being that Sophie's taken to waiting patiently in the plaza for Asbel, the new arrival is not missed. Also it helps that he made that noise. She glanced left, right, and then got to her feet to walk over towards the sound. ]

[ No clothes? He must be cold. But Sophie wouldn't know she should be shocked, or embarrassed, or point and make fun or anything. She looks right at the Endless, tilting her head. ]

Are you injured?

Yeah, I just got here. But... um... I shouldn't be here. I should be back at the village. People are in trouble.

[Ryu looks down at himself, and then shakes his head.]

I... don't like water. Or the cold.

How come?

[ She pauses, glancing down, and pointing. . . at Ryu's crotch. Tsk tsk. ]

You have something stuck to you. [ This is probably not the way Cheria would want her to find out about the differences between boys and girls. ]

It is alright. While you are in this place, time will not pass in your home world. You can relax, a little bit at least. Would you like to get inside? You can take a shower and rinse off some of that salt.

[And... put on his shirt afterwards. Please put on your shirt, Ryu.]

... Oh. That's good...

[Blink blink. Shower?]

Um... but I'll get wet again...

[ :c ]

[That's okay Ryu's kind of clueless for it other than -]

... That's the thing you pee out of.

Is that a problem? You don't want to be covered in dried salt, do you?

[Ryu, you need a bath. Your hair is going to stick up that way!

...what do you mean that's normal?]

Well... no. I just don't like water. Water and ice attacks hurt a lot.

[Guess who has an elemental weakness! 8D; ]

[He looks so upset about that... Zelda smiles kindly, motioning for him to come with her.]

It's not an attack, it's just a little warm water. There's no magic behind it. If you don't rinse off, you're going to feel stiff.

[... He follows, pulling his shirt on and grabbing his bag. He's still not sure about this, but he doesn't say anything.]

[Now she has to wash his shirt, too! Zelda leads him into the Welcome Center and puts on a pot of tea, then opens the door to the small shower contained within. Just in case he's from one of THOSE worlds...]

I'm going to turn on the water, all right?

[And then she turns the knobs, adjusting the temperature to be pleasantly warm. It's like it's raining inside!]

[Washing machines, what are those? Also his clothes are probably decently dirty anyway.]

[He stares into the small room, blinking in confusion at it, and jerks back when the water starts. He stares at it suspiciously. What. :| ]

It's a shower. The water comes from a tank, and pressurized pipes deliver it to this location. It's quite convenient.

[The princess sticks her hand in, allowing the water to slide off harmlessly.]

It doesn't hurt. If you would leave your clothes outside this room, I can wash them while you get cleaned up.

[... He slowly sets down his bag and nods, before pulling off his shirt again.]

[He'll put the clothes outside, don't worry.]

[Zelda's beginning to wonder if he's another child in an adult's body at this point, but she doesn't comment and steps out of the room to give him his privacy. She'll just make some tea and wash out those salty clothes while he figures out the shower.]

[More or less. The clothes are left outside and he starts attempting to deal with the shower on his own. The soap is strange and slippery and he keeps dropping it, but he does notice how it helps the crusty parts go away.]

[Still, it probably takes him about fifteen minutes or so before he's more or less satisfied with how he feels.]

[... But he does grab a towel and put it around his waist before he steps out of the bathroom again.]

[And there are his clothes, neatly folded and already dry right by the door. Zelda needed to wash out the salt and dirt, but she can dry something with magic easily - it's just a matter of wicking out the moisture! She looks over her shoulder at him from the small stove and smiles a bit.]

Do you prefer your tea sweet or more astringent?

[He just looks at her in confusion. Does it matter? It's not like he has much tea experience. Also what was that last word?]

Uh... I... I don't know?

[He pulls on his shirt and steps back into the bathroom for a second to put on his pants. Then he heads out of the bathroom again.]

Here, you can have it plain for now, then. You can always add more sugar if it's too bitter.

[Zelda's quite good at making tea, though, so as long as he doesn't hate the taste of it in general, chances are he'll be fine. She heads over to a small table and sets the cup down, then moves to take out one of the brochures for him to look at.]
