[ The past few weeks have been frustrating beyond belief, and she's dealt with everything surprisingly well, all things considered!!! Though 'surprisingly well' has mostly been 'stay in her room for an extended period of time'. Though she's feeling more like herself and has gone out for a walk.

And noticed all the flowers--They were all very pretty, so she's picked a few, and made a few into little crowns. Though strangely, she doesn't feel like bringing the small bouquets and circlets home with her. No, she feels like giving them to anyone that passes by! ]

Hey there. Would you like a flower? [ And she'll offer one up to you--Yes, you! Because seriously, who doesn't want a flower? ]

[ A-Aww isn't he the cutest. She'll just lean down and put one of the little flower-crowns on his head. ]

There. Now you're even cuter than before.

[Oooh, a whole flower crown! He gazes up, trying to see how it looks on himself, jumping a bit and eventually spinning in circles. He's got this! Almost, that time! Surely, after this next spin... Maybe...

...This could take awhile.]

[ She can't help but laugh--he was just the cutest thing! And after watching him try to grab the crown off his head, she pulls out a single flower and offers it to him. ]

Here, how about you play with this one instead?

[That'll do! He gratefully accepts the flower, then tosses it into the air and starts batting it around with his tail.]

[ She laughs, watching him play with the flower for a bit before squatting down and holding out her hand. What a scratch behind the ears? ]

[ She would have, if handing them out to everyone wasn't so tempting. ]

[He laughs. He's not as gloomy as Trunks normally is, but his laughter? It's usually not from pure joy.]

It's sweet of you. I can't see your mother doing something like this.

[ She laughs in return. It was weird, seeing this Gohan so cheerful. But hey, cheerful is good, right? ]

Well what can I say, I must have inherited only good things from my family.

[Probably Krillin would have made a crack about there not being much to inherit, but Gohan is much too polite. He keeps his thoughts to himself.]

That was considerate of you. Between that and the flowers, life here is that much pleasanter.

[Gale pauses in the middle of his walk through the plaza as she holds the flower out to him. He takes it, but he's giving it a strange look.]

Why?

[ She just smiles, hand on her hip. ]

Well why not? I mean, they're super cute, right? So why not give them to people?

Is cuteness the only reason for giving them to others?

I...guess? [ A shrug. ] I mean, it just seemed like a good idea.

[It's... this one is his daughter, right? Why is she offering him flowers? Vegeta looks down at the plants like they're going to attack him without responding verbally.]

[ What. Is. That look. Seriously. ]

Oh, come on, dad. It's a flower, it's not going to bite you.

[ You know what? screw the single flower. She's going to reach up and throw one of the little flower crowns over his hair. ]

[His protest is cut off by the ring of flowers placed on his head suddenly. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! THIS IS...]

[...kind of nice. It feels... fuzzy and strange. He's not quite sure what that feeling is and stands there looking mildly disgruntled. Do these flowers give off some sort of pacification chemical? He's positive he's never felt like this before.]

[ Trolololol. She'll just grin, and look kind of smug. ]

See? Told you they wouldn't bite.

What are they for?

[He picks one of the flowers off his head and inspects it, bringing it up close to his face so that he can sniff it tentatively. Did she give them to him to eat?]
