to tell you the truth in this contract i don't care about anyone but me
Who: a witch (
sigil), her bitch (
geass), and the most adult of us all (
chosehope)
Where: lelouch/nunnally's apartment
When: late evening after c.c. arrives
Style: first
Status: closed
[ when you've been living for as long as an immortal person, things that should faze you simply end up becoming less and less effective at impacting your psyche— therefore, c.c. isn't too bothered by this whole "vatheon" business. another unexpected experience to add to the heap— although she prays it will be at least enjoyable, since she's decided to try giving this whole "living" thing a go.
she's been around long enough, so she's able to figure out a dated piece of technology with little effort and discover both the contact list/map function. watching the network that was included with the clunky starfish had cleared up enough: a lot of wet people—much like herself—looking for answers and getting them; c.c. would simply leech off those answers instead of acting like a fool about it. in any case, lelouch is here, and that's all that matters.
it doesn't take her very long to find the apartment complex he's listed in— but finding his room is another thing entirely. in fact, she ends up knocking on a few random people's doors with questions about his whereabouts until someone finally points her in the correct direction.
finding his room, there's zero hesitation in letting herself in. she wastes no time in stripping herself of her soaking black knights uniform down to nothing but her underwear, either. it isn't until she's wringing out her hair in the middle of the apartment that she realizes it's rather quiet. was anyone even here...? ]

Lelouch.

As she opened the door...]
Lelouch, who are you talking t-
[Her eyes widen a bit when she saw who he was talking to.]
Um...did I enter at a bad time?
no subject
I thought as much, although this technology is a little dat-
[ hm? at the sound of a door opening she pauses in running the towel through her hair and tilts her head slightly. she doesn't say anything, but she does smile considering this was exactly what lelouch had mentioned he wanted to avoid. oh, well. ]
no subject
So when Nunnally comes around, he freezes for just a moment, before letting out an annoyed sigh. It wasn't really at Nunnally; it was actually directed more or less to the woman in front of him.]
I was just telling her where my room was. [He finally says, trying not to glare too much when he turns to look at Nunnally.
It was C.C. he would save all that for. :|] She just arrived here, and as you can well imagine, she's pretty confused.
[Now looking back at the witch, expression getting a little more irritated.] It's up the stairs, C.C. [At least he's keeping his voice even, right?] Just take something until we can get something else for you.
no subject
Oh, I see! I should go try and make some tea for C.C and you! We don't want to be rude! [And off she goes to look around for some tea! But she is still keeping an eye out for the both of them should anything happen.]
no subject
If you had told me she could see again before I got undressed I would have waited, Lelouch.
[ and with a wave she's gone to...get a shirt of his or something. ]
no subject
Okay. He's just going to shake it off. He should be used to this, really.]
Ah, you don't have to do that, Nunnally...I can get it. [He catches the towel and starts to follow Nunnally, completely ignoring what C.C. had to say.
Again, shouldn't be very unusual - at least about things like these. Just go get your freaking shirt, okay.]
no subject
But when Lelouch follows her for the tea, she was going to tell him that he didn't need to do it. However, knowing her brother...]
Are you sure? I can get it myself, you don't need to worry!
no subject
she can hear the other two fussing around over tea, so for the time being she simply sighs and buries her face into one of the pillows on the sofa. ]
no subject
He shrugs, getting the tea out.] I'm positive. You can go talk to--[There's a brief pause, because does he really want Nunnally and C.C. talking?
Well. It was going to be inevitable now, wasn't it?]--C.C., or something. It won't take but a few minutes anyway.
no subject
All right but if there's anything, let me know okay? [Then she scrolled over where C.C. was sitting] Miss C.C.? It's nice to meet you again, I hope that you're doing well so far despite being in Vatheon!
no subject
Of course. It's nice to see you too. How long have you two been here?
no subject
He needs to talk to her, privately, about the events that happened here and the fact that Mao was here as well. No doubt she'd be surprised to hear that he was back from the dead...
But these things weren't to be spoken of in front of Nunnally (for more so that she wouldn't worry than anything), so they would have to wait.]
no subject
whippedcareful with housework. Eventually, she does turn her attention back to C.C. She has been a little worried on how to approach her but she believes that things will be fine the way they were now.]I believe that I have been here for about a month now. Although, I believe it might be two for my brother. Um...is that right?
no subject
she tilts her head back to glance at lelouch once nunnally asks him for confirmation. ]
no subject
Three months, actually. Almost four.
[Unfortunately...]
no subject
I didn't mean to make a mistake like that, how silly of me! [Well doesn't she feel embarrassed now]
no subject
so she doesn't say anything, instead waiting for lelouch to bring them their goddamn tea. ]
no subject
[She really wasn't to blame for it.
So he goes to pour their stinking tea--WATER TAKES TIME TO BOIL, AFTER ALL--and brings it back in for both Nunnally and C.C.
There. Are you two happy now?]
no subject
Ah, thank you! You're always good at making tea.
[With that, she did take a sip but she winced at the heat]
no subject
c.c. accepts her own tea, but doesn't opt to take a sip just yet. she's somewhat staring inside of her own cup instead, head still contemplating a few things. four months is a long time— for lelouch, at least; time doesn't really affect her. what had he been doing all this time...? she knows he has the ability to exhibit patience, but he's also a bit reckless when it comes to achieving his own goals— goals he couldn't achieve here. ]
I take it you don't know how to leave this place, Lelouch?
no subject
Well, there was the question everybody just loves to ask him.]
I don't. I've tried my hardest to find a way out willingly, but as far as I can tell this place sends us back at random.
no subject
[But in the meantime, she'll just have to figure out her feelings about her brother at the moment. As she took another sip from the tea, she looked back at C.C and her brother wondering what they might do next. It felt weird that she has to keep an eye out for the both of them but she just wasn't too sure about them right now]
no subject
[ she finally takes a sip of her own tea as she waits for his response. he had mentioned he'd tried his hardest and nunnally's optimism seemed to insinuate a solution over time... she was honestly fine with waiting, she could handle it— but lelouch was the type to preoccupy his mind with something rather than idle aimlessly. in fact, if nunnally hadn't been in the same room, she'd flat out ask 'what have you been doing' rather than 'what are you going to do'. she watches them both curiously, albeit lelouch a little more than nunnally; part of understanding him in particular couldn't be found within just his words alone. ]
no subject
[Not that he knows exactly what C.C. remembers; he hadn't had any time at all to ask her. But those were details to be sorted out later, and nothing that bothered him too much currently. Anything she didn't know could be quickly filled in.]
The only thing to do is search. Even though the evidence I've found has been less than helpful, at best.
no subject
[She was trying her best to keep her optimism but she too had to wonder if going back was the best option right now. After all, she was going to be send to her death. In addition, she wondered how long could she keep thinking like that]
