Who: Marie Mjolnir and her rage and also innocent bystanders.
When: Monday morning
Where: the Villa and surrounding areas
Style: Brackets or prose, I'll end up following you.
Status: OPEN
OOC: Whoops, two prompts here! The first is at 3 AM, and the second is during much saner morning hours. She'll be a whole lot easier to deal with in the latter one.
[ It's much too early when Marie sleepily shuffles out of the room she's been sharing with Stein. Down the hall she goes towards the kitchen. She muzzily rubs at her eye, gets a glass of water, and wanders into the living room so she could watch some television or something.
She'd actually stolen Stein's lab coat when she couldn't immediately find her robe for lack of something better to throw over her nightgown and it only occurs to her when she catches her reflection in the television screen. It was a good thing that her husband wasn't there, he'd probably be so dramatic about--
And then it clicks.
She would never marry Spirit. That was insane-- for that matter, she didn't have a husband at all! Who would even want to put that into her head? ]
HOW DARE THEY!?
[ The shriek reverberating through the house is actually not the most alarming thing that comes out of this. Nor is the swell of power that anyone with an inkling of awareness might be able to pick up.
Marie isn't even thinking when she throws a blind punch-- just one! The whole wall explodes outward, leaving a gaping hole to the outside the whole span of the living room. Nothing is spared, and everyone is very lucky it wasn't weight-bearing.
Even the poor, poor television was obliterated in the process. ]
---
[ Later into the morning, after calming down, she's properly dressed and out picking up the mess. It's the least she could do after obliterating a wall, and she has to scour the Villa yard and even go out into the street to pick up chunks of fragmented building material that had once been a part of the Villa.
All in all, she seems better.
Much happier, that much is for sure. Marie is humming quietly to herself as she tosses debris into a black garbage bag, almost like she's performing everyday normal chores. At one point, she pauses and eyes the destruction from the street, musing quietly to herself: ]
Hmm, I bet a bay window would look great there...
[ And then she's back to cleaning. Oh, hey, there was part of the television! How the power cord, still plugged into the outlet and all, made it all the way across the street was a mystery. ]

But then there is an explosion and what the fuck the whole house is coming down. Shiro doesn't even have time to grab a coat, and he dashes out of his room wearing only a sleeveless undershirt and boxers. It's a miracle he even managed to grab his glasses in his panic.
Then he sees the wall. Or where the wall used to be, more precisely. All he can do is stare at the rubble and Marie and wonder how he ended up living with so many crazy people.]
I liked that couch...
so how about that judo
She's also having tiny bit of a breakdown.
All those times Stein tried to warn people that Marie hit like the hammer she was should have been fair warning. She turns at Shiro's words, still completely furious, and isn't even thinking about going at him. She's not as fast as she usually would be, it's way too early in the morning for that, but she still throws a punch with a cry of: ]
I don't need your criticism right now!
[ That didn't even make sense. ]
hue
Thankfully that shout was enough of a warning to put Shiro on-guard, and as Marie reaches forward to punch Shiro side-steps and grabs her arm. Then he'll use her momentum to flip her over onto her back.
Trying to punch someone who knows judo is a bad idea.]

She hits the floor hard enough that it gives visibly under the redirected force. There is a vaguely Marie shaped crater a few inches deep in the living room floor, and the carpet over it is distorted but not quite torn.
She didn't really want to hit Shiro anyway, so she's just going to take a moment to stare up at the ceiling in shock. If he's paying enough attention, he might notice that it didn't even knock the wind out of her. ]
no subject
By now he's turned and is standing right by Marie, peering down at her with a raised eyebrow.]
Are you done now?
[Throwing a tantrum, he means. He's so used to having to smack down powerful demons and scary-strong exorcists to restore the status quo that it's become second nature to him.
It's also balls-early and Marie interrupted his beauty sleep. If nobody is dying, it's hard to get worked up.]
no subject
She looks up at him, taking a moment to process what he must have meant. ]
I don't want to be.
[ She'd been more comfortable with being angry. ]
no subject
[Marie looks calmed down enough to joke around with, so Shiro is trying to use his humor to further eliminate her anger.]
You can open it this time, even.

[ Wait, wait, she was trying to be distraught here. She holds up a hand to him, an obvious request to be helped up. It was hardly necessary given that she was practically a tank in the form of a tiny woman.
She glances at the missing wall.
She really hadn't hit it that hard.. ]
no subject
It's too late for the wall, but that can be fixed. Shiro has connections.]
I told Rin to grab another jar when he went grocery shopping a few days ago, so we should have one.
no subject
That's so thoughtful.
[ Devouring the pickles out of spite last week aside, she didn't even like them all that much.
It still seemed like a good idea. Her shoulders slump a bit, taking his lead. ]
I'd meant to pick some up myself, but...
no subject
[Shiro is sad to see that he lost the soul powers he had gained, but he is happy that his body is back to normal. He can live without poking people in the soul if it means he can actually move.]
It might be a bit late for pickles, though. Would tea be an acceptable substitute?
no subject
But, here, I'll make it. It's the least I can do after waking you up.
no subject
[That sounds good to him!
He'll go grab his robe while Marie makes the tea too. If he's going to stay up, then he needs to not be running around in his skivvies.]
no subject
Because, yes, clearly it would be putting on water to boil that would do that. That was exactly what would cause issues.
It'll take a few minutes, and she leans her elbows on the counter top and looks over at the hallway. ]
no subject
Hopefully no raccoons will sneak in.
no subject
It is a great tragedy. Greater yet, she practically swam in Stein's labcoat, and she's a pouting, shapeless form in too much erratically stitched fabric. She'd ended up rolling the sleeves when she put the water on, one of them already spotted with water.
Life was so hard. ]
For their sake, if nothing else. [ A brief pause. ] I'm sorry about that.
no subject
[Marieplz he raised Rin, he is used to collateral damage.
He'll go ahead and lean against a nearby counter, taking the moment to ask about the events that night while the water heats up.]
So what happened?
no subject
Why Spirit? Why... why married?
[ That was supposed to make sense. If Shiro can translate, he's doing pretty well for himself. ]
Why was I so bad at it?
[ Yes, she was definitely on top of good communication skills thing right then. ]
no subject
[Oh look, things he didn't actually know! This is a surprising turn of events.]
I don't think you could say you're bad at it if you're not married.
no subject
[ She shakes her head emphatically. ]
I've never been married, but I thought I was and I was so horrible at it.
[ Seriously, he was there in the hot springs. She got a little liquor in her, and she was way closer than the average weapon with their meister. Even sober, she was. ]
no subject
But he remembers the hot springs and figures that is what she is talking about. So he shrugs.]
Even if you have false memories implanted in your mind, your soul remembers the truth.
no subject
[ Wibbling over here now.
That's an actual thing, okay? Mind, soul, and body were all linked and the first and last had both been disturbed in one way or another last week. Being horribly off her game was just a given. ]
no subject
[He gets the feeling that Marie won't listen to logic here, so it's time for another method!]
But if it still bothers you, then you can take it as a sign of what to improve about yourself.
no subject
I don't understand how you're so reasonable.
[ That was a completely legitimate complaint, right? When the water is hot enough, not quite boiling, she fusses about to make them two cups. ]
no subject
[Oh yay tea! When Marie finishes making the tea, Shiro will take his cup and drink some of it.]
