The most tangible of all visual mysterious.
Who: The Summoner and OPEN
When: Early evening
Where: The Island
Style: Action
Status: Open
[The island's not so bad, you might think, I could go for a stroll today perhaps, even if you don't stroll up there much, or if it's quite a frequent thing you enjoy. Perhaps today is just the day you wished to set your eyes on that sky and feel those branches and strands of grass beneath your feet, pull in breathes scented by the rolling tide of the sea all around you. Maybe just today, maybe again today.]
[But today today, or rather tonight, there may be a bit more about while you enjoy your walk tour, as spontaneous as it may or may not be.]
[A blaze of fire, can you smell it? Smoke, even at this distance. Something about the area around you feels alive, more than usual, lived in, and by something other than the various skitters and squawks of local wildlife. Was there a fire- the forest was it oh no- You look around, eyes intent, trying to find a flash or blaze somewhere, and you find yourself looking up to maybe catch any rising tendrils of smoke in the slowly dimming sky. But there you don't find smoke, and you don't find fire you- see something flying above your head, something huge. The creature's wings darken the sky even further, it's wingspan immense, and it appears to be- white, a creature of white. Though it's white surface allows the colours around it to show on it even easier because of that, like a moving, living palette in the twilight sky. Finally you see that fire, but up there as you stare at the large winged beast. Fire sprouts from it's mouth and if you didn't realize it before you may now- a dragon. Though some may just see some winged, fire breathing demon beast if the term dragon isn't familiar to them.]
[The creature flies but, seems to be getting lower, and quickly, and eventually you can almost hear it settle down not too far from here, the weight of the ponderous creature rocking the ground under your feet. Perhaps now is when you turn or- maybe try to take a peek.]
[If the latter's your choice and you have a pressure building in you, curiosity edging you to get a closer look, you'll find that fire you had smelled before, a rather large one, but contained to a stone and dirt circle in a clearing past some trees. The dragon- creature- is there, huge, towering, it's eyes a glowing red as it sits almost regally at the edge of the clearing, taking up most of it with it's formidable size. And with it? Seems to be another peculiar figure, man sized, though to some the horns are a dead giveaway, and that smile as he pushes at the flame with a long stick from his seating place nearby it. It might be then that you start to smell meat cooking, set over the fire a bit, the scene is- quiet, and you're free to disturb it, or not. Hey buddy, that's on you, there is a huge dragon there too so we'll all understand if you need to ollie.]

It's without her almost always present anxiety that she heads into the clearing, smiling fondly when she sees who else is there. Summoner. Really, she should have known. Who else would appreciate the presence of a creature like this? Duke perhaps, but she knows exactly what Elucifur looks like and this certainly isn't him. No, this creature is something different entirely.]
She's lovely, Lysunder.
no subject
Yeah she is, loveliest thing on the island- well, until now. [Flashes a small smile Zelda's way. Pyral Spite huffs, her eyes slimming, tail flicking. Ah huh, you big fat liar Summoner, she's still the most fine thing on this island, too bad.]
[Summoner turns to look at the approaching woman, still with that smile, though it softens when he gets his own gaze on her, feeling relaxes around her, even with his familiar friend sitting next to him and his campfire. Zelda may notice a few things besides the two and that cooking food. Like the lack of wings, and tranquil look of him, calmer than she's probably seen him in a while, and perhaps an odd instrument propped up near his tree stump seat.]

[It's said with a smile and a shake of her head. Zelda heads over closer, close enough that she can clearly see that his wings are gone. By this point she's realized that the curse takes something along with giving, so she's not too surprised when she notices his wings are gone. It gave him a beautiful pair of wings in return after all, though they may not be attached to his body.
She glances up to Pyral, admiring her quietly for a few moments before looking back down to Summoner.]
Would you mind terribly if I joined you?
no subject
Not at all, you-? [Glances up to Pyral, a pause, Summoner frowns.] Don't be a bitch, Spite- [A snort, sitting back on the stump a little and glancing back to Zelda.]
She just feels at contest with ya, don't mind it. [Pyral really doesn't she was just joking, just as Summoner is, which might be easy to recognize with that grin on his face.]
no subject
Creatures of the sky are unparalleled in their beauty in my opinion. She has nothing to worry about.
[Still, it's the people who lived on the surface who really captured her heart in the end. After another good look around (mostly to be sure the fire is really, really contained), Zelda spots the instrument.]
Oh! Goodness, I haven't seen one of those since I was a child. Where did you get it?
[There aren't any Zora here as far as she knows. Did she miss someone's arrival?]
no subject
Hm-? [A pause, confused for a moment before he looks back to the guitar. He had been.. tinkering with it a little, but he wasn't nearly as good as he had been during that curse, kinda a disappointment, but hey, he had the time to try it out here and there.]
[Lysunder moves to pull it up onto his lap, sliding some fingers over it.]
Ah, that curse, the one where we had all that questing and that? Heh, a kid gave it to me for helping him out.

The fish that these bones came from is from my world. They once lived near to the water dragon Faron, and are blessed with remarkable musical abilities. As they grow older the music becomes physically part of them, and when they die their bones are capable of producing a lovely tone. The Zora greatly value their remains as instruments.
[Strange. She didn't even know that Faron existed before, but now she can see the dragon in her mind's eye so clearly... Zelda shakes her head, focusing on the instrument again. She never did get a chance to actually play one.]
Would you mind if I took a closer look at it?
no subject
...Zora, ha, there's that word again. [Huh, so that's two Zora items he owns now. Summoner gives the instrument a thoughtful look. Be kinda neat to meet one of these guys, wonder if any of them would ever show up here..] Ah- yeah sure.
[Summoner moves to carefully hand the bone guitar to her. It's strange though- that boy looked, he doubts he had been a Zora. So did that curse bring back a lot of different things from people's worlds?]
no subject
It's got a good tone. It may be able to properly play magical music...
[The fire nearby brings the bolero of fire to mind, so she decides to play that and see. It won't take them to the temple of course, but she'll be able to tell if it works. She starts to play, and sure enough the sound carries properly. The fire seems to pulse along with it, but there aren't any other effects.]
You've received quite the gift here.
no subject
How- ah- [A small, almost embarrassed smile.] I'm no good with the thing, but uh, I guess that makes sense, never got an interest in that musical stuff, not till now anyway... That curse kind of gave me a taste for it, and this guitar stayed when everything changed so...
What was that? What you just played?
no subject
[No interest in music? For shame! Though with the state of his world she can see why. There's no time for a symphony when you're fighting a war.]
You just haven't been taught properly. This song is very simple at its core, and you only need the melody line to make it work. Would you like me to teach it to you?
no subject
Bolero of Fire- [He muses, staring at the guitar now.]
W-would you? [His ears perk a little, eyes- now with a sort of childish wonder to them- looking back to her face as he sits forward.]
no subject
[If he gets good at it, maybe she can teach him that. First thing's first, though! She straightens, playing only the first eight notes of the song. On a magical instrument, the fire responds to just that much.]
This is the essential part of the melody line. You would only need to know this much to properly transport yourself to the temple.
[After glancing up at his face to make sure he's watching her fingers she does it again, slowly.]

And it does, to a degree. It all dies down to a whisper, one she can ignore. And yet she's still so drained, operating on instincts as she walks around the island and finds herself walking closer to a flickering fire. She can smell the food and it makes her stomach gurgle quietly though she's more focused on that beast. All white and those deadly red eyes that she makes sure to stare at least she be blinded again. But still she's staring, glaring even at the beast, enough to ignore the smaller figure of the troll next to the dragon, even as emotions that aren't hers start to pry their way in.]

Last person I'd thought to come up here, Legs. [He chuckles, staying seated. Though he had glances over his shoulder to her. Pyral Spite remains where she is, only moving her head a little to keep a steady glowing gaze on Mindfang. While Summoner may be cool and collected right now, she hardly can ignore the flare up of a grudge in her belly, and finds in enjoyment in making sure Mindfang remembers it too.]
no subject
Forgot you would be up here. [She drifts off, fingers tapping some sort of rhythm against the tree as she tries to shut him out. It's not too bad, a touch of confusion, but over that the sensation of happiness. Wistful but generally happy. Though she's sure that will end soon, by the way she can feel that beast's eyes on here even though she refuses to return the stare]
no subject
Ah, well, I can get scarce if you want me to? [Doesn't mind killing the fire and finding a new place, of keep the flame here and trade off the post to her. Fine by him, besides... She looks kinda spooked, spooked? Maybe not the right word. Something's different.]
no subject
It's fine. Probably best you stay around to control that bitch. I doubt she'll go just because you want to. [A small scoff at said bitch, Mindfang jerking her head away just as quick as she give Pyral a glare. She's already felt the pain of those eyes once, and she won't again.] Stop worrying.
no subject
Ah ha, right- [Said as Pyral puffs out smoke from her nostrils, streams of it and a few flashes of fire huffing from between her teeth.]
Might be better to not antagonize her though, I mean, if you want her to lay off ya, heh. Both of you have a bit of- uh, tough time, keeping your pride in check. [A chuckle, brows raised, lids lowered.]
no subject
Heh. [A small scoff, and if anything she seems to be moving closer to the dragon then him. The dragon is quiet to her, a relief really.]
I'm not antagonizing anyone. If she takes it as a search for a fight then she's an idiot. I can keep my pride in check just fine.

Control yourself? [A smirk.] C'mon Fang, you know better than to lie to me, eh?
no subject
I can. [A haughty sniff.] I have bigger concerns then her and her grudge anyway.
