Chapter 3 | Painting the Town
Who: Angelo and anyone in Vatheon.
Where: The Plaza.
When: Early afternoon into the rest of the day.
Style: First/Action.
Status: Open!
[Acting on his word of living normally even with his friend in a coma (while also being aware his friend is being taken care of by other people), Angelo goes out into the middle of the Plaza to do something he has thought of practicing more often; painting and drawing. So from around lunch time and for the rest of the day, people in the city will see a man sitting on the edge of the fountain in the Plaza wearing a painter's apron surrounded by art supplies. Medium sized paint buckets of various colors (pastels, bright/light/dark colors, etc), a small box different sized paint brushes, canvases of all sizes, an easel of the rather large variety, a few dozen drawing/sketching pads, and lastly a box of pencils/pens/markers/other things such as that of differing sizes. He does have a few of the pad opens which were ones from home that have a few sketches in them already. Passing by, some people might recognize the sketches of various people in Vatheon or places they've been to. The drawings themselves might be rather accurate and not that terrible either, you can even see the artist putting in his own style to each one.
Currently however, the artist is painting (with those bright colors no less) what appears to be a field of flowers with the sun shining down onto them amidst a beautiful blue sky. There might be little birds flying in the painting too and a familiar white dog that everyone knows in Vatheon by the name of Chibi (markings included) running with the birds happily. He's pleasantly pleased with his work and takes a moment's break to examine it. Anyone around is free to walk by and admire the other paintings (mostly landscapes or flowers) or drawings he's done while working on his currently on as well.]

yay tl;dr
However, she couldn't help but stop and look at the painting near the fountain. She was use to seeing strange things going on but the painting made her stop in her tracks. Huh, looks like someone is painting the wolf that she met the other day. Don't mind her walking closer and admiring from a distance]
All the tl;dr!
I presume you're either a friend to Sunshine or have seen him around the city.

Anyway, I have seen him around for quite sometime. But I haven't seen him around lately...

Originally, she had just recognized Angelo, and wanted to come over and say hello. But she stopped when she saw him painting, watching him as he painted.
Suddenly, there was a pang in her heart. One of her friends from back home, Beryl, was a painter. She was here for a brief amount of time before returning home, and while she was glad that Beryl was able to find her way home ... seeing someone painting at all was really nostalgic and sad for her, because she missed her friend so much.
So here she is now, standing a fair distance behind Angelo and watching the canvas as he painted, in somewhat of a daze. ]

So we meet again, fair Kohaku.
no subject
O-Oh, well ... so we do.
[ She's trying to shake herself out of the awkwardness of being caught like that. How embarrassing. ]

Fortunately, just this once, he has the grace not to trip over his own paws and knock over all the painting supplies. He hops up onto the edge of the fountain next to Angelo, trying to get a peek at what he's painting.]
Arf! Woof! Woo~~~ [C'moooon, he wants to see it!!]
no subject
Hello Sunshine, just the pup I wanted to see. [He turns the easel slowly to show Chibi his painting. The puppy will see that the painting is in fact about him running with birds in a field of flowers with a sun that resembles the one Chibi drew for him the day they met.] It's a self portrait of you, not bad eh?

Chibi jumps down from the fountain, only to reappear on Angelo's other side.
Look at this thing here! And the birds! Oh and the sun over there, and the flowers!! Not to mention how dashing the centerpiece is, of course!
He bobs back around to the other side, tapping his paws up and down excitedly as he whips his head back.]
AWOOOOOOOOOOOOO...!
[Uh, suffice to say, he loves it.]

...Paintings of a ship, before his Tribe blew it up.
Serph approaches Angelo and nods in greeting.]
They look good.
[His gaze goes back to the paintings.]
no subject
Thanks Serph, you want one to take home? I don't mind giving them away.
no subject
...But nothing can cover the huge hole in the wall.
He nods.]
I'd like that.
[What are the choices of paintings he's got?]

Thank you, I'm still practicing though so it's not quite that beautiful.

As she drew closer, the young detective saw the painting of the young pup. She had seen him around and had wondered if the markings were real with their swirls and the fact they were red.]
That's a good picture of the pup.
no subject
Thank you, he was a large inspiration for many of my works here.
no subject
I can see why. The young canine is very lively in many ways, certainly. Most often tries to bring happiness even to those who are saddened.
[She lowers her voice some.]
I have wondered about those markings though...

A quick glance at the seeming portrait of Chibiterasu, then, recognizing the man, Kurow descends onto his heels before him.]
Oh, it's you—were you the one who painted all of this?
no subject
Hello again, I haven't seen you for awhile. And to answer your question, yes I did. They're apart of a hobby I've developed.

He wanders towards Angelo, mildly intrigued by the paintings. Those are actually pretty nice. The kid's got talent.]
... Not bad.

Oh Yuan, I'm surprised to see you're still around and thanks for the compliment I suppose.

[He's always been a very solitary person, and he had the notion that others would see him like that as well. Not that it matters whether they expect him to get out much or not.]
