An Aerial Survey

Status: Sorta closed? I guess anyone on the island can point up at the big fairy troll, but they probably won't hear any words directed at them.

[For perhaps the first time in a female body, Zelda was wearing pants. It wasn't that she didn't trust Lysunder, it was more the idea of anyone on the ground below being able to see right up her skirt. For that reason, she was waiting near the elevator in Zelos's usual clothes, right down to a simple white headband in place of her tiara. They were a bit big, but nothing too severe. She shifts around nervously, waiting for the troll to arrive.]

Oh sweetie, you look so cute...

[His face holds a rather smitten smile as he steps over to her, as rugged and wild as ever, he has yet to really get any other outfits besides the ones he had coming here. Tailoring things was... tough, and he just didn't feel like it, there really was no need.]

[He does another once over with his eyes and smiles again, tilting his head to the side.]

A little sad to see the dress gone, easy access and all. [Snicker.]

[Zelda turns red to her ears, hugging herself protectively when he mentions "easy access".]

L-Lysunder! Please, don't talk like that! I know you're capable of being polite, so can we just do that?

[She starts for the elevator, looking over her shoulder.]

I'll teach you that song afterward if you don't cop a feel.

[rebull]

[He just chuckles, stepping closer and slowly unfolding his wings.]

I wouldn't actually steal anything like that from you. Words are words. Besides, I won't get anything from it if you don't give me permission. Hmmm~?

[She wasn't quite sure what he meant by "stealing". Was it really that obvious she'd never been close to someone like that? It probably was. She sighs heavily, forcing herself to calm down. It's easier when she remembers his distressed texts after the faeries died. Yes, he was a good person.]

No, I don't suppose you would. You are a kind person, aren't you? I really do appreciate you coming out here to meet me so quickly.

[Her eyes flit back when she notices the movement of his wings. Oh, she really wants to take a good look at them.]

Your wings are lovely. Are you certain I won't be too heavy?

[rebull]

Hmm, am I? You tell me. [A small smile, looking over his shoulder when Zelda brings attention to his wings. Lysunder chuckle, opening them more. They flutter a bit before becoming still again, but staying open behind him, much like a butterflies wings.]

They are quiet lovely, aren't they? And no, you shouldn't be took heavy at all, trust me.

[zelda_hylia]

[It was pretty silly of her - even though she was the one that had suggested it, she felt like stalling now. The last time she had let someone pick her up, she had been ten years old! She would just have to get over her discomfort. There might be something on the island! She looks up at Lysunder shyly.]

Ahh, alright then... where do I hold on?

[rebull]

[The brown blood troll just smiles and steps to her glancing down and gesturing with a hand.]

May I?

[zelda_hylia]

[Oh. This is a thing we're doing now, isn't it? Zelda steels herself, looking almost comically serious. In her defense, she's never been airborne before.]

Very well, I'm ready.

[rebull]

[He sees her tension but doesn't falter himself. Summoner just smiles and nods his head, leaning down. He quickly slides and arm behind the knees of her legs, and then the other behind her back, picking her up horizontally and close to his chest.]

Comfortable I hope?

[Lysunder flashes her an elfin grin.]

Ready?

[zelda_hylia]

[Her stomach leaps slightly upon being picked up, but she's otherwise okay. She clutches onto his shirt and nods. He doesn't seem to be straining to hold her up, so this is fine.]

Yes, let's go. Please tell me if you experience any difficulty, I may be able to ease it with magic.

[rebull]

Mmm? Magic? Tell me more once we hit sky, okay?

[And with that, Lysunder looks up, crouches, and leaps high, his wings folding back, only to open and catch him. Eventually either wing gets a good beat and he starts to really soar, higher and higher, looking up as he does so, a wide smile set on his lips.]

Tell me when we're higher enough, all right?

[She's not paying much attention for the moment. It was frightening at first, but somehow, by the time he'd started soaring smoothly it was nothing but fun. There were old stories about Hylians having lived in the sky before, and right now, she believed them.]

Oh, this is wonderful!

[She laughed childishly, letting go of his shirt and turning her face into the wind.]

Hmm~ this should be high enough. Any lower and it would take too long to survey, but any higher and I won't be able to make out the detail.

[She fishes her notebook out of Zelos' massive pants and takes out a pen, starting to draw a map.]

[Sometimes... sometimes really little things can make Lysunder really happy. Seeing the expression of someone who has never flown before, and are now for the first time? That's really something he can and has treasured ever since these wings fully grew in. After all, flying is the only way he can really feel free, even if it's fleeting.]

[A small chuckle, turning his gaze to look at her.]

It really is.

[With her next comment he nods, keeping his place in the sky and just enjoying the sights, Zelda's changing expressions included.]

Tell me when to move. Also, what about this uh, magic, you mentioned?

[zelda_hylia]

Oh!

[She pauses in her drawing, holding a hand out.]

Please don't be startled when my weight changes.

[The hand glows a soft golden color and suddenly, Zelda weighs about as much as a small child. It was a simple spell, one that she did often as Sheik to allow higher jumps.]

Is that better?

[rebull]

[He's still a bit startled, but not enough to really be noticeable. Summoner stays rather still as he flies.]

Oh... that's, how did you do that?

[zelda_hylia]

[She giggles, returning to her notes.]

Magic, silly. Do you truly not have magic on your world? It's alright if you don't, I've noticed that many worlds seem to not - especially those that have a strong technological side to them.

[rebull]

Magic, uh, not that I know of? Trolls are often born with abilities, but it's not magic. That's all just fantasy talk. It's kind of... neat that there are worlds where it exists.

[zelda_hylia]

I would be happy to show you more sometime.

[Alright, that covers this area... everyone knew about the little village, anyway.]

Let's continue. Could you head towards the east, please?

[rebull]

That would be something I would really enjoy.

[A grin and then, he nods, moving east. His eyes flicker over the city under him, wings quiet as they carry them both without a problem.]

Why did you want to do this again? Probably the same reason I mapped out the forest I'd guess?

[zelda_hylia]

For many reasons, really. For one, we can't be sure that the bubble will last forever and most of us need air to breathe. Also... this is one of the few areas that hasn't been fully mapped. There might be something here, some sort of clue.

[She shields her eyes from the wind so she can keep a good eye on how far they've come.]

[rebull]

I think I'd like a copy of it, if you don't mind. Heh, something like that is very useful. [He peers over, leaning his head to the side enough to try and look at her map.]

Maps are probably one of the most useful things someone can have on them.

[zelda_hylia]

[She holds it up so he can have a peek. It's just a quick outline for now, but it has the makings of a detailed map.]

You may certainly have a copy. I plan on giving one to anyone who asks. Goddesses know that the city hides enough things from us, we shouldn't hide things from each other.

[Her attention returns to the land below them. There's got to be something here.]

[rebull]

[Still moving east, his eyes survey, keeping rather silent as he flies. Eventually he sees a rather tall building at the edge of the island, and what looks to be an extremely small harbor, only holding a few docks. The tower, as Summoner gets closer, is apparently a light house. Or at least Summoner thinks so with the large open part at the peak of the building.]

Hmm, see that build way in the distance? The tall one. [It's still quite a ways away, but it's not too hard for him to make out.]

[zelda_hylia]

I see it, yes. Should we land and give it a look?

[Zelda's rapidly sketching the coastline as she speaks. Are there boats there?

Is there a way out?]

[rebull]

[Everything from this distance, looks very abandoned. The docks over washed many a time with no sign of maintenance, and the tall white building that is the lighthouse looks to be in about the same condition.]

Sure, I can up the speed to get there a bit faster?
