Who: Mithos and YOU
Where: Plaza, shopping center!
Style: Mun will follow!
Status: Open!
Mithos hasn't been seen for a while, following that explosive conversation with Lloyd that, thankfully, didn't end violently. But somehow, Mithos managed to get cabin fever, and left his small room; he can now be seen in the shopping center, actually wandering into a place that sells clothing for young teenagers.
And so, here's Mithos, having culture shock. Seriously, look. At. THIS. SHIT!
Someone, anyone, show up and tell him this isn't how people usually dress, or he'll lose what little respect he gained for humans so far!

[Anise shoves a ridiculously tight t-shirt back on the rack. It's not as if they don't have tight clothing on Auldrant but many of these cuts and patterns are so completely outside of her cultural experience that she can't even bring herself to try.]
Maybe I should try another shop... oh!
[Well hi there Mithos.]
no subject
... Well, at least you can tell bad fashion when you see it.
no subject
[Ugh, why would anyone get pants with holes already in them?]
no subject
[ But Anise, don't you wanna show off your legs!? ]
no subject
Which leads him to where he is now, looking with bemusement at the styles. Most of them don't really appeal, but...
Something catches his eye and his face lights up.]
Hey, that's a cool scarf!
AND NOW FOR SOMETHING HUGELY TL;DR
Stop giving me walls of text, Pain. ;-;
Man, it's too bad it's not winter. Maybe I could get it anyway and save until then, just in case I'm still here.
NEVER
I knew your sense of fashion was bad, but this is just awful.
[ Mithos shakes his head disappointedly, and turns to find a less-hipstery store to go shop at. Even if he's expecting Lloyd to say something else. ]

[The defensive come out of his mouth before it registers just whose voice he heard, before he's fully turned, but as soon as he sees Mithos, they choke back into his mouth.
Suddenly all the awkward.]
Mithos...
no subject
[ Mithos turns back to him, but only half-way. He looks more like he's looking away from Lloyd, than directly at him. ]
[stabs grammar in that last post]
Then he takes a breath and steps toward Mithos, hesitant but still with an amount of determination. He can't give up, not without trying. What kind of friend would he be?]
What're you doing here?
no subject
[ He had to stop himself from rolling his eyes. The angel looked over the racks of clothing again, shook his head, and sighed. ]
I'm looking for new clothes. But human fashion in this world is so horrible.
[ Mithos would have settled for something classy, but this... This should have been illegal. ]
no subject
He's just... going to try not to think about the fact that Mithos is Yggdrasill. It makes this a little less surreal.]
I don't really know what you're looking for, but if you don't like the clothes here, can't you go somewhere else? Lots of stores sell different stuff. Or maybe you could ask someone to make your clothes. My Dad made all my clothes before I got here, so they were always exactly what I liked.
no subject
[ Mithos shakes his head. Yggdrasill's outfit was made by the angels of Cruxis, and these clothes he's had virtually all his life, given to him by his sister. ]
Just something comfortable that doesn't look... well, like this.
[ Mithos isn't a hipster, Lloyd. ]
no subject
[Not that he's gone looking for them, but it seems like it would make sense.]
Besides, some of this stuff's a little weird, but it can't all be that bad.
[He shuffles through a nearby rack.]
What about some of these shirts? They look comfortable.
pffffffft
[ Wait. Wait. A plaid--- nope, Mithos turns around and starts walking away. SERIOUSLY LLOYD, WTF. He's the lord of Cruxis, not a freaking lumberjack! ]
Hee~ :3
[Mithos, you are confusing him. He frowns, not sure if he should follow the blond or not.]
no subject
[ He doesn't care one way or the other. But, considering this is Lloyd, he doesn't expect to lose him that easily. ]
no subject
So, what are you going to do then?
[Since you're shooting down all his ideas. They were good ideas, too!]
no subject
[ Looking straight ahead, no eye contact whatsoever. He knew Lloyd would follow him. His arms are crosses, and he huffs, his blonde eyebrows lowering. ]
I'm going to keep looking.
no subject
no subject
If you promise not to suggest any more plaid clothes.
no subject
[He looks back at the shirts, not understanding.]
But if you really don't want plaid, I can do that. So, are you just looking for more clothes like the ones you're wearing?
no subject
[ Mithos snaps. He then sighs, and shakes his head. ]
Anything that doesn't look like something a lumberjack would wear.
no subject
Though he still doesn't get what's wrong with lumberjack clothes. They're good and practical.]
Then what about this one? It sort of looks like your shirt.
[Lloyd, that's a woman's blouse...]
no subject
That's for a woman, you idiot!
[ Jeez, Lloyd. Sure, Mithos and Colette could pass for twins, but come on! ]
no subject
It is? How can you tell? What's the difference between a boy's shirt and girl's shirt anyway?
no subject
no subject
You know what? I think I have a better idea.
no subject
[ But he's listening anyway, as he rifles through the rack of clothes. ]
no subject
[He's already heading out of the store, his goal fixed in his mind.]

Huh. "Are you lost?" He placed a hand on his hip as he regarded the horrible fashion disaster he was looking at, and then back to the blond kid. "I would be too if I had to stare at those patterns. Ugh." This coming from a kid who thought crudely drawn skulls and camouflage
caprispants were the best thing ever.no subject
Eventually, Mithos stops, and stomps off to another rack, this time with jeans. All super-tight; even Mithos' pants had some breathing room. "Look at this. This can't even be comfortable. Who would want to wear this!?" It took some effort not to burn all of this stuff where it sat. It was bad enough that Mithos was starting to at least tolerate humans, but after seeing this? He was starting to reconsider.
Hayner would find it cool but dangerous if he sets fire to the store
He paused to toss a look over at the skinny jeans. Oh maaaaan. "You can't even breathe in those." The image of what might be squashed in those things wasn't pleasant. "Maybe in the adults section they'll have something better? I know their isn't that much of a size difference." Then again, this kid did look pretty small.
no subject
"Is there anywhere around here that doesn't sell such awful outfits?" Sure, he was a human, but maybe he knew.
no subject
"Just let me get my shirt and I'll show you." The only thing Hayner liked from here was the tanks or muscle tops. Wouldn't take long since all he had to do was nab a black one.
no subject
Mithos shuddered. The sooner they leave this place, the better.
