Disciple in the sky with cupcakes.

The Disciple found herself roaming the streets. She found herself in a great mood, and didn't want to waste it being stuck indoors. The greenblood had been struck with a case of wanderlust, so she decided to explore this strange underwater city she found herself in. She could vaguely remember being scared of this place, the crash of sights, smells, and sounds overloading her. Now, as she roamed the city everything around the bubble seemed so...calm.

So, with a strange bemused smile on her face, the Disciple began her meandering journey through the city, stopping occasionally to enjoy a particular sight or smell.

Once again the weather forced Kanaya down to the bubble. It was still raining occasionally, though the sun was starting to break through the clouds sometimes it still wasn't consistent enough. Besides, sundown wasn't too far away and she'd need to be in her shop for the night. Kanaya came down from the surface a bit early so she would have time to get some more supplies for the workshop. While walking the streets aimlessly she encountered a troll she had never seen before. Certainly a female shape, and larger than most of her friends, meaning that this was likely an adult troll. Kanaya approached cautiously.

She had been admiring a particularly smell, a bakery had laid out its fresh bread nearby. She had been so taken in by the smell that she had only just now noticed the young jade troll that was approaching her. Her eyes were already open fairly wide, but they managed to get even wider when she realized who it was. She would recognize her anywhere. Those eyes, that hair, that wonderful smell of fresh bread... The Dolorosa had returned to them! Signless would be soooooo happy.

"Lulu!" She yelled as she bounded over to the young jadeblood."Oh we missed you so much! You were gone and now you are here!"

The Disciple scooped the young troll up in her arms, carrying her in twirling circle before finally bringing her close in a fierce hug. As she began nuzzling her cheek into the jadeblood's head, she started to realize something wasn't quite right. Carefully, she removed the young troll from the hug, holding her aloft in front of her.

"Lulu...when did...you get so small?"

Kanaya was surprised, not by the suddenness of the motion, but by the mentioning of that name. She registered the adult troll's excitement as friendly jubilation rather than a threat of violence, and decided to let her grapple without resistance or complaint. Surely she'll realize her mistake in a moment.

Or not. Fine, time to set this straight.

"I'm sorry but I am not who you think I am. I am not the Dolorosa, but her descendant."

She stared hard at Lulu, her words attempting to sink in, and failing. Why would Lulu not be Lulu? Squinting she looked closer, She did look a little different, but there was no mistaking her scent. Wait, did Lulu smell like fresh baked bread...? Yes, yes she did.

"Now, now. No tricks Lulu. it's you! Only...smaller. You smaller Lulu. Smallulu." She giggles at her own words, but still manages to set down the jadeblood.

"I am not Lulu. My name is Kanaya Maryam." Oh, what in the hell is wrong with this troll? Kanaya had already figured out who she was, though they had't met before. An oliveblood adult using Signless's pet name for his lusus? This must be one of his band then. Perhaps she's a new arrival, Kanaya was herself still getting used to the presence of both her friends and their ancestors. "I am not the Dolorosa, The Signless is my friend, not my ward. I've never met you, but I am friends with your Descendant Nepeta." Kanaya pulled out her SFC while talking, getting a text message ready for the Signless.

"Lulu already friends with Nepeta! That is...wonder...ful..." She trailed off as the young jadeblood had pulled out the small starfish shaped device and began fiddling with it. The Disciple's attention was fixed solely on the small communicator that was in front of her, as she progressively moved her nose closer to it. Once close she will attempt to take in the strange things scent. She had seen so many of these things in peoples hands, but never up close, always different colors.

"What is, Smallulu?" Her attention shifting momentarily to the Jadeblood.

Kanaya ignores the strange behavior f the adult for now, writing a text message to request backup. If the Disciple gets a glimpse of the Screen, she'd see the start of a message. There Is An Oliveblooded Adult Troll Here And She Is Acting Very

"This? This is a Starfish Communicator. You should have one too, all new arrivals get one. It connects to the network allowing communication between the devices in the forms of text, audio, or audio/video. Right now I am trying..." Kanaya stresses that word as she raises the device up. The Disciple's hair was making it impossible fore her to see what she was doing. "...to write a message for the Signless. I think he would like to know you are here."

Her eyes followed the communicator as Kanaya moved it away from her. All the Disciple could figure out is that it was the only thing she ever wanted, ever! She must have it! With a dexterity born from her many sweeps in the wilds, she darted forth, her teeth snatching the SFC from the jadeblood's hands. The elder oliveblood then scurried away to the other side of the street, her prize dangling from her mouth like a fresh kill.

Examining her toy, she stared at the screen with a puzzled look on her face, trying to figure out what it meant.

Clearly some kind of secret code.

Kanaya is not at all happy with this development. Its not enough that she was trying to get someone to come help her with this, but that device has a lot of files that are important to her. Shop inventories, customer measurements and profiles... And now with that being threatened, Kanaya is moving purposefully to the Disciple. She talks as she approaches, to belie the idea that she might be chasing the troll. "Excuse me, but that is mine. I need that right now, please give it back." She's not expecting this strange troll to comply, but she has to try the reasonable route first. If she isn't given it back without delay though, Kanaya's going to make a grab for it.

There were new words, red words. They seemed familiar but she couldn't place how. Staring at the small screen, she suddenly realized the young troll was moving towards her. The Disciple stared defiantly at the approaching jadeblood. She wanted her...whatever this thing was, but she couldn't have it.

"Shiny thing mine, Smallulu." She holds the communicator away from the young troll. She sticks her tongue out, playfully daring the jadeblood to come closer.

Kanaya was not happy about this at all. If she couldn't win it back through reason, she would take if back by force. She dove at the Disciple, trying to pin her to the ground with a surprising amount of strength. Kanaya may be quite a bit smaller but she is filled with an amazing amount of potence. But even with her supernatural strength, she's having quite a hard time being able to both hold the Disciple down and wrest the SFC out of her grasp. 50 kilos of troll flesh isn't much no matter how enhanced its strength is, and the adult troll has a longer reach.

Somehow in the middle of the struggle one of them bumps the touch screen of the SFC, suddenly turning it to video mode. The Signless is now getting a filtered audio/video signal, but the images are chaotic as the device is tossed around in this little tussle.

Oh this was great fun! Smallulu was much stronger then she would have guessed. She was proving so much of a challenge, she might even lose the shiny. At this point, she could barely remember why she wanted it in the first place. No, what was important now was the game of tackle-pounce she was currently engaged in. The shiny was simply a means to an end, and she intended to win.

The game had her in such high spirits that given a small break in the wrestling, she playfully licked the little jadeblood's nose, giggling.

"Smallulu soooo strong!" she said, her smile wide.

Okay, this makes a little more sense. Not much, though.

"Kanaya? Kitten? Where are you two?"

Kanaya was stunned by the lick. her mind was suddenly scrambled static and for a moment she stopped struggling, trying desperately to think of some sort of reaction. Luckily Signless's voice came from the SFC, breaking her out of it. She made another grab for the device while yelling for him.

"Signless! We're about a block from my shop, near the plaza. North... (gah, give it!) west!"

Kanaya makes another attempt to grab the starfish, managing to knock it out of the Disciple's grip. The communicator skitters across the street, and Kanaya scrambles after it, hoping its not damaged and hoping that she can get to it before the Disciple does.

The Disciple thought she had won when the little jadeblood had stopped playing. It was all a clever ruse. Smallulu distracted her by suddenly speaking, even bringing Signless into it, and then knocked the shiny from her grasp while she was . Oh she was a sneaky one, but this game of tackle-pounce was far from over.

She watched as the jadeblood scrambled after the shiny, and a wicked thought came to mind. She was going to win, and she might have to resort to being a little underhanded to do it. It was time for her to also be sneaky.

The lithe form of the Disciple crept up behind the jadeblood as she reached for the SFC. A impish look on her face, the Disciple lurched at the young troll, and started tickling her.

Suddenly the Signless's communicator erupted with the sound of laughter and someone gasping for breath. She had almost made it to the device before getting attacked. Laughter was being forced from her, and she stopped any attempt to retrieve the SFC in favor of trying to get away from this torturer.

"....giggling...NoStop...laughing to tears... Oh! Stop it!... further giggles..."

Kanaya was embarrassed and enraged. She had no idea who this really was but this was simply ludicrous. She tried to maneuver into a position where she could escape.

The Disciple had moved on from tackle-pounce. No, now the game was tickle-fight, and she was destroying her competition. Its like the jadeblood wasn't even trying. She was totally the best at tickle-fight, practicing with a certain kitty troll had really come in handy. The smile on her face was as wide as ever as she continued the assault on the defenseless young troll.

Right, that's it. You want to fight dirty? Let's Fight Dirty.

Kanaya couldn't manage to escape, and she couldn't stop both those hands from tickling her. Then again, she only needed to grab one arm to do what she had planned. She sank her fangs into the Disciple's wrist, letting the effect of a rainbow drinker's bite stop the older troll. She quickly realized her mistake as the drug in the Disciple's veins hit Kanaya, and it hit hard. Oh Damn.

And it's right at that moment that Signless comes skidding around the corner and almost runs into them.

What even? Seriously, you two, just... what even?! He freezes, completely befuddled and with no idea what to do.

The Disciple makes up his mind for him, pulling loose from the jadeblood and standing. Already buoyed by the drugged cupcakes, the rush from the bite of the rainbow drinker launched her even higher. Her mind was floating around in low orbit. Even still she could never forget the sight of her beloved.

"NUUUUBYYYY!" He had come to seen her, and she was even more excited. (High orbit now.) She ran over to him, noticeably stumbling, and threw her arms around him. "Nubbyyy nubbyyy, missssed yoouuuu."

She then disappears behind him and reappears under his cloak, now wearing it over her as well. She began to playfully rub her head against him, purring intensely.

"Oh. Hey." Kanaya groggily said, as she tried to get up. Her mind was fogged nd she wondered why that could be? Maybe there's... like... a fog. In her mind. How did it get there? She started laughing out loud. That's absurd, mind fog. She's just being silly. No, she knows what this is. The oliveblood was drugged. She drank from her, and now the drug in affecting her as well. This revelation didn't really seem to alarm Kanaya though, as she found herself perfectly ok with this. She's ok with a lot of things.

"Heeeeeeeey... Signless. This giant Nepeta was acting really weird. Pft HAHA.... Giant Nepeta! That's what she is. A Nepeta Leigiant."

Ooooookay... Signless has no idea what transpired here, but you know what, he's going to roll with it. Clearly, they aren't fighting or angry at each other, and Disciple is being very friendly and playful, which can only be a good thing.

"I, uh... I suppose so, Kanaya." He sweeps his cape around, trying to capture Disciple in it. "Are you two having a good time?"

"Yeah. Yes. Yes we are. Having a Good Time. Yes." Kanaya managed to stand, and slowly walked to Signless, following a meandering path. She got very close to him and said "But..."

"But.", Kanaya repeated. She got very close to Signless now, like she was going to tell him a secret. This seemed even more apparent as she quickly looked around, like they were somehow surrounded by eavesdroppers. "But."

Finally she whispers into his ear, "We shouldn't be."
