[Things were far to negative outside the apartment. Yes, Rhi'a knew a murdered happened and that people had the right to be afraid and nervous and angry and all the other emotions that followed death, but that is clearly what the killer wants them all to feel, and this dragonkin will have none of that. After Shelly returned home, our friendly neighborhood dragon decided to propose and idea to clear the mood and their minds having a slumber party...

...yes, I know it doesn't mean anything if they already live together since it's always a sleep over, shut up.

Anyway, so now Rhi'a is just sitting on the couch, wearing her new black PJs and slippers, waiting for Shelly.]

Well...this should certainly be an interesting experience. I can't say I've had a traditional slumber party before.

[In a simple set of tan pajamas (because, really, it's just sleepwear), Shelly walks over and drops down on the other end of the couch. It's done rather brutishly, but the gesture maintains a sort of elegance regardless. Somehow.

It's been a tiring and stressful day, so a "slumber party" is bound to be more fun than usual. Even though she hasn't held one in years.

Looking at Rhi'a, she tips her head to the side.]

Not even once? Well, I can't say you've missed out on much, but how the experience will be depends on what we do.

Because everything Shelly does is badass and yet elegant at the same time. It's just how she rolls.

Rhi'a looks over at her with a curious expression to meet Shelly's own.]

No, I haven't. Didn't really do much most did, upon retrospect. As such, I'm not accustomed to the traditions as well. What things do you do during a slumber party?

[Given Rhi'a's background and difference from a human, Shelly isn't so surprised in retrospect. Then again, Shelly doesn't have much experience in this department, either . . .

She simply likes parties.]

[Rhi'a shakes her head.]

[She returns the joke with a slight laugh.]

But I suppose you are right. Then again, I've never found the affairs of other people all that interesting, but giving this..."gossip" thing a try wouldn't hurt.

Oh come now, Shelly. You know I'm inexperienced in these things. Why don't we start with you, since you know better than I? Give me an example, if you would.

[ . . . admittedly, she's not very good with gossip, herself, since prying into personal life like this has never been much of a specialty of hers. She's more on the political scale of things and working from that perspective. But that's fine.

Gossip is sort of like interrogation, right?

Leaning on her end of the couch -- hardly acceptable for a politician in public, but this is private -- she smiles.]

Have you been seeing anyone lately?

Seeing anyone? You mean like in a relationship, correct?

[She pauses, thinking.]

Well, there is one person I've been seeing. His name is Medic, interestingly enough.

Well, I don't believe it to be his real name. I believe he mentioned his real name being...classified or something.

[She tips her head to the side.]

. . . that sounds like someone else I know.

Oh, who?

Someone who insisted on "Heavy."

Oh, him? Medic mentioned him, actually. Said he was a comrade of his.

. . . ah. That'd make sense. So, does Medic have a fixation with red, too?

Yes, he does. I'm not sure about all the details, however.

It could just have to do with their affiliation. Like color coding for an organization.
