[ It was inevitable really, that after hiding away for so long Kaito would get bored. Luckily for him he knows how to fix this. Unluckily for the town his methods involve some good old fashion pranks. He's slipped out of his current residence disguised as this lovely young lady. This way he's free to roam where he pleases without risk of someone recognizing him as either detective Kudo Shinichi or the infamous Kaitou kid... unless the person just so happens to be that annoying brat he somehow has the misfortune to share a house with. ]

[ His lack of freedom in his own house, despite the (true) hidden room is probably the real reason for this. He's not the type that can go days on end without getting some kind of attention so he's led himself to the town square where he gets a totally awesome and not at all risky idea. ]

[ .... ]

[ Kaito pours soap into the fountain. He's experienced in this kind of thing, being the accomplished prankster that he is. So, don't be alarmed when the fountain continues to bubble over and now looks like an oversized Bubble Bath. ]

Conan sees all of this as he approaches the fountain from the far side of the plaza.

[ Kaito is giggling as he finishes up his awesome prank, already feeling loads better. He's in such a good and carefree mood that he doesn't immediately notice Conan. ]

[ Kaito freezes, feeling an familiar twitch by his eye-the same twitch he experiences every time that voice meets his ears. At this point he could recognize it anywhere and it has never seemed less annoying. He stamps down the annoyance however, and turns to face the detective with a sly smirk- most unbecoming on the his disguise of choice. ]

I think it's more interesting this way.

[Conan gives him a dry, unimpressed look.]

You put soap in the fountain.

[ The smirk doesn't waver but then... does it ever? That Conan's ever seen? }

Are you sure it's just soap?

[So this whole walking thing...he's got it down. Stairs are still tricky but that's why he's been walking around Vatheon so much. Practice.

That's what leads him to the plaza again (this time in pants an shirt at least) and in time to catch fountain bubbling over with...something. He can't help but stare a little curiously and come up next to the woman.]

O-Oh I-I don't know... I was wondering that my self-th-though it does look like.. s-soap bubbles, doesn't it?

[No apology for the startle. He's too interested in those bubbles.]

Well they do look like bubbles but...what's soap?

[He reaches over to pop one, grinning a little.]

[ That's... something. ]

U-um... Soap... y-you know? The thing you clean yourself with in the b-bath tub?

[He knows what the bath tub is from the new nice apartment he's in. But that's used to just soak...]

Nope. Never heard of it.

Is that what's making these bubbles?

[He's still playing with them, kneeling down carefully.]

[Sure. Once he gets some. Right now he's...just getting so many ideas from this.]

Hey, lady. Did you see who did it?

[ Kaito turns around, making sure to wear a concerned expression as he does. ]

O-oh! Hello! Th-the fountain... it just... um.. well- [ He Gestures to it ]

[It seems to be a harmless prank...maybe. Who knows in a place like this.]

Y-yes, I'm fine. It's-it's just have never-I've heard about children doing juvenile things like this but-but that someone would actually-! [ He shakes his head in slight disgust ]

Seriously? This is your first time hearing something in this area?

[She sighs and pulls out her phone wand.]

Maybe I can try clearing some of these bubbles.

I-I would never allow my children to-W-well.. yes. I-if you know how too-it's probably best that it's cleared away before anyone else sees.

[It's just bubbles. While Maddie isn't amused by the thing, this woman seems to make it like it's a big deal. Something doesn't seem right here.

Pointing her wand at the fountain, out came blue sparks as she focused on the water, trying to make the bubbles go not by splashing the fountain water out but by folding the waves.]

[ Kaito just watches, showing none of his amusement on this face- the only think he permits be shown is his honest look of shock as the bubbles start to clear away. ]

Th-that's rather impressive.

It's just a small spell. The thing is harmless so I doubt any one will get hurt. Might be a pain in the ass for the locals though.
