The somewhat peaceful morning is suddenly ruined by the sound of very, very loud coughing. A sputtering blond boy pops his head out of the fountain. He hangs onto the edge for a moment before blinking around in confusion. Small little coughs still coming up as the last of the water leaves his lungs.

"W-where am I?"

Not Atlantica...still underwater but with humans around. He sinks back into the fountain a little bit, trying to hide.

Oh, Light. This kid almost looks familiar from somewhere.]</sub>

You... Uh... Y-You're in Vatheon.

[merrascal]

[small start and stare up. He just sees a human.]

Vatheon?

[He's never heard of any place like that. He frowns a little and pushes himself up to lean more on the edge of the fountain. Human or not...this guy at least had answers.]

What's Vatheon? And why'd you bring me here?

[He'll just blame Demyx until he finds out the truth.]

It's like uh... Sorta like Atlantica--long story short about that place, it's like this 'cept without a bubble 'n merfolk. Or, Atlantis, I guess.

_{[He scratches his chin, then extends a hand to the new guy.]}

I didn't bring you here, dude. The coral did 'n whoever else is behind this place. I'm stuck here just like you 'n everyone else.

[merrascal]

[The glare vanishes and Urchin looks surprised now.][Yeah forget the bubble, things aren't adding up.]

Like...Atlantica ruled by King Triton?

[Oh. Well hes not apologizing for being wrong. So he'll just stare at the offered hand for a moment before taking it in a hand shake.]

Coral that kidnaps people. Humans that know about Atlantica...what's next?

Yeah! W-Wait--You know it?

_{[Could it be? Is this kid...?]}

I... I'm not really human, little dude. W-Wait, er... Shoot... Okay, uh. First things, I'm Demyx.

[merrascal]

Demyx huh? Well I'm Urchin and of course I know about it. I was there right before I ended up here.

[He looks Demyx up and down, a skeptical look in his eye.]

Right. And I'm a blue whale.

[ninthserenade]

You mean you're a mer?! Oh man! I thought I'd never see you guys again!

_{[He laughs, bouncing on his heels. Don't get too excited, don't get too excited...]}

No, no, really! I can speak Atlantican and everything! I grew up there a long time ago!

[merrascal]

Yeah, what else would I be?

[He hasn't quite realized his missing tail fin quite yet. Though...he makes a face at Demyx.]

You don't look familiar. How long ago was it?

[Calm down dude, Urchin is getting fidgety.]

Man, like... Almost ten years ago now, I think cuz of Ursula. I went by a different name though--Myde.

Ky has a towel already ready as he walks close. It seems to be that time of month again, where new people who up.

"You're in an underwater city. It's called Vatheon."

[merrascal]

Urchin looks up with a small start. Great. A human. It was just what he needed after being dumped in some strange place.

"Yeah? Well, I'm from an underwater city and I've never seen a place like this before." He glares a bit, it helps keep him from looking worried. Which was the last thing he wanted to show in front of anyone.

Ky hands the towel over, doing his best to look agreeable and friendly. "It doesn't match anything in my experience as well, for what little that might help you. I'm not aware of any way to choose to leave."

[merrascal]

Urchin just stares at the towel, not taking it. "So. I'm stuck here?" He frowns and looks down at his hands for a bit. This was not a good thing.

"Why'd I get dragged here anyway?"

[closedcircuit]

"Yes, unfortunately you do seem to be. If you care to come out of the fountain and dry off a little, I'm sure it would make you feel much better." Ky offers the towel again.

"I don't know that. It's still something to be be figured out."

[merrascal]

Now Urchin looks confused. Come out of the fountain? Well there might not be much sun but he can't survive out of water. He glances down and startles. Instead of his bright green fish tail...there are two bare, human legs.

"W-what's going on?" He looks up at Ky, "What are these things?" He points down at the offending appendages.

[closedcircuit]

That throws Ky, as he blinks back at Urchin for a moment. "You mean your legs? I can't see anything else there..."

[merrascal]

"I'm...not supposed to have these." His voice is flat, panic taking any sort of reaction out of him. He moves one leg and then the other.

[innocentgear]

Oh my...

_{[have one girl with wings and tail. She is looking at you with worry.]}

Um, you're in a place called Vatheon.

[merrascal]

[Whoa. Sorry if he stares a little...the only wing like things he's ever seen were just fancy fins.]

Vatheon? I've never heard of it.

[Well...she's not human so he doesn't show much worry. Leaning on the edge of the fountain to look up at her.]

Who are you?

_{[it's okay, she's used to that.]}

I suppose not many people heard of this place before arriving here.

_{[she smiles kindly.]}

My name is Dizzy.

[merrascal]

I'm Urchin.

[Small head tilt, he's kind of watching her wings. Sorry.]

Do you know how I got here? I mean heh, I wasn't stuck in this thing a few minutes ago.

I'm sorry for being so slow!

[He points towards the wall of the bubble, indicating the sea beyond it.]
