[ Poor Vriska. Poor, poor Vriska. It has to be hard, having your childhood idol reject you. Feferi's been thinking long and hard about what she can try to do to cheer her up-- it's a hivemate's duty, after all! Sort of. Kind of. Well, not really, but she really kind of wants to! She hasn't yet figured out Vriska's sleeping schedule, but as soon as lunch time rolls around, she thinks she has a good idea and she might have a chance at catching her hivemate awake.
Since her expertly-crafted soup didn't go over so well, she makes her way up to Vriska's block, two plated sandwiches in hand. One, a regular tuna sandwich for herself. The other, a special tuna sandwich for a very... special troll. If Vriska wanted spicy, she'd get spicy, in the form of tuna spiked with hot sauce and the hottest spices she could find in the kitchen.
She knocks on the door once before she pushes her way in unbidden, getting a little more brazen in her invasion of Vriska's space. ]
Hey Vriska, I brought lunch!

Hey Vriska, I brought lunch!
no subject
I don't want soup.
no subject
[ She takes a seat cross-legged in front of Vriska and offers up the spiked sandwich. ]
Try it, I think you'll like it a lot better. And when we're done, I have a surprise for you.
no subject
What's in it?
no subject
[ Polite as she is, she waits at least until Vriska's taken the plate to start devouring her own food. ]
no subject
... Okay maybe it is good. She'll just take another small bite casually...]
no subject
Good, right?
[ Look how eager she is for approval! ]
no subject
I guess.
no subject
[ Well now you went and disappointed her! Oh well, maybe next time. ]
That's not the big thing anyway. I think you're going to really like this surprise.
no subject
Yeah? [Slowly continues chewing.] And what's that?
no subject
[ Where did that whole sandwich even GO? It's like she just swallowed it whole. ]
no subject
She wipes her mouth on the back of her hand.]
Alright, I'm done.
no subject
[ Jeez, she's fast, and already heading downstairs, feet pounding on each stair even though she skips a few in between. ]
Get your shoes on, we're going out!
no subject
Where are we going? [She asks impatiently as she shoves her shoes on with the laces still tied.]
no subject
[ You need get a leash on this girl, Vriska, or else she's going to get away and run off down the street. ]
no subject
no subject
[ And it's off to the shops! Feferi really seems to know where she's going... ]
no subject
[The entire time she's looking around, making sure she's not walking straight into a trap and everyone will jump her at once...]
no subject
[ It's not so far off, at least, so the trip is short. A sign announcing a pet shop comes into view, and it's not hard to tell that Feferi is making a beeline for it... ]
no subject
[A pet store? She stares up at the sign before they come up to the entrance.] This is it?
no subject
[ As far as pet stores go, this one looks more like a pet supply store than anything else. There aren't a lot of animals within, but through the rows of shelving, towards the back of the shop, are tanks stacked upon tanks, mostly filled with water (and logically fish) but some are seemingly empty, at least from the door.
But when Feferi leads the way back, it's easy to see that the empty tanks contain all manner of crawly creatures, lizards, crickets, and most notably, the one she points at-- a big, fat, hairy tarantula. ]
Look! Look at him! Isn't he cute?
