Who: The Handmaid/Demoness, OPEN
Where: Nearest comfortable bench
When: Now!
Style: Pick and I'll match
Status: OPEN!
It was... disconcerting, the way the world was tilting. Land was not supposed to tilt that way. She sat down on a nearby bench, almost instantly falling over. Maybe... just a moment. Just rest for a moment before getting back up and working.

What she has had to do to survive was not something Aradia needed to experience for herself. The pain of being so close to death and yet not dying was not something her little descendant needed to know.

Anyways, back to the matter at hand. "It was a risk, and I can't speak for the rest of the team, but we're not as defenseless as we may seem at times." Oh, Handmaid, if only you had known what your descendant has gone through in her lifetime... if only.

Pushing himself away and up from the table, Darkleer gestures for the Helmsman to follow and begins to make his way to the coordinates sent to him. It doesn't take that long at all. Soon, the two trolls arrive, and Darkleer looks over the scene coolly.
"Handmaid. I believe you have been in better condition."

Don't try to read too much into all of this, it's really exactly what it looks like and neither of them are entirely aware.

"Thank you for your concern, but I am fine." The Handmaid stood slowly, her eyes slightly glazed over. "Aradia, you're quite crafty. I'm very proud, and very upset."
She would be fine. She had dealt with far worse feelings before and had to keep standing. They didn't need to be there to worry over her or catch her as she started to... tip...
Her feet moved to reset her center of balance, fighting with all her will to keep from falling over right there. "I apologize for Aradia interrupting what plans you two had made."

Aradia follows right after her ancestor, chuckling at what she says to herself. It is horrible obvious how her condition is, because honestly... Aradia has been in such a similar predicament. Turning her sight to the two trolls, she nods once. "Thank you both, I really appreciate it."
Then, she turns her attention back to the Handmaid. "Believe me," she began, grabbing lightly at the Handmaid's arm to help her stay balanced. "You'll thank me later."

"It is nothing, Miss Megido. Our previous engagement was winding down to a close." Kind of. For the best. Yep.
As he steps closer to Aradia and the Handmaid, he glances back to the Helmsman. "If you could keep yourself prepared in case...?" The Handmaid, he knows just from this alone, can be quite stubborn. Looking back to Aradia, he raises an eyebrow and offers his hand. "Is there somewhere in particular you wished to go, then?"

"Forgive our intruthion," he murmurs softly to the Handmaid as he gives Darkleer a nod.

She pauses, looks to each of the ancestors, then grins. "Back to my apartment!" Aradia replies cheerfully, figuring that would be the best place to bring her back, all things considered.
I blame all of you.
Darkleer pauses as well at Handmaid's words, and he raises a hand to his chin thoughtfully. "I see. As you wish, Miss Megido." A nod to Handmaid.
"As for you, may I please request that you remain calm and simply allow us to tend to your illness with minimum fuss? Thank you."
Didn't agree? Too bad, Handmaid, because that is Darkleer moving in all efficient-like to sweep you off your feet like you're a new bride.
