As she stood from her heavily creased bed, a rather groggy Gracia came to the conclusion that her time in Vatheon was spent either running around the city, participating in adventures with her new friends and her family, or sleeping for indefinite periods of time. She frowned, allowing herself a moment to express a quiet moan of frustration. How long was she asleep this time, and what in the world did she miss? What irked the young woman the most was how these bouts of slumber came at the most random times, and without her knowledge of it. Sleep was all well and good, but Gracia had an active soul, and more importantly, a very caring heart. To awaken knowing you were asleep while important events happened to the people you cared for - and she knew there was bound to be something! - only served to make her feel worse.

After a rather hilarious (and loud) misunderstanding regarding Futon's whereabouts, Gracia walked across her room and opened the door. Said puppy, who grew a few inches bigger she might dare say, ran past her feet, towards the downstairs living room, barking all the while. She had to hurry to get dressed; seeing her new pet who diligently kept her company as she snoozed only reminded her of her other two.

"Were they able to eat properly while I was asleep? Oh, I hope nothing bad happened to them!" Needless to say, Gracia felt extremely anxious to get things done. She never could do with long periods of staying still and waiting about.

Ignoring the sounds her stomach was making, Gracia stepped into the bathroom nearest her bedroom and yawned one last time. She washed her face and started preparing her bath water up until her eyes glimpsed at the mirror by the door. The redhead blinked once, twice, thrice. She stood upright, abruptly, stretching her neck closer and closer towards her reflection. When it looked like she might as well have kissed the shiny surface, Gracia stepped back and continued to stare in amazement. Or fright.

"My hair is...long!" She made a sound of genuine surprise, fiddling with untrimmed and severely unkempt crimson locks. Her usual length - hair that ended right around the neck and collarbone area - was now slightly past her shoulders. Her bangs obscured her vision, and the entire left side of her hair was sticking up into the air. Bed head was one thing, but split ends and frizzy tips? Her father would be ashamed! "I've never grown it out like this before. How strange." Gracia pouted at what she was seeing; was this the result of magical sleep?

"What should I do now?" Worriedly, she combed through her hair in an effort to get it to look presentable. She winced at the sudden jolt of pain. Her fingers wound up entangled with the knots the strands made. She started walking around the bath room, arms up and hands on her head trying desperately to comb the rebellious hair out. Sadly, she only made the tangles worse. Gracia leaned herself by the door frame and continued to untangle her hands out of her hair.

How in the world was she ever going to get anything done at this rate?
