[ I'm staying behind, she said. I'm not going to go off on my own, she said. Well, she specifically said she wasn't to go off looking for a certain highblooded adult troll. What she's doing now is pretty much the exact opposite -- she has her mind set at finding a certain lowblooded young troll at the moment. She's careful, though. It's not like she's never had to sneak about before! Briefly, she'd considered gathering a party for the task of searching the bubble for her matesprit, but it seemed like having more people along was just asking to bring attention to herself.

It's much easier to slip around unnoticed and keep an eye out when she's by herself, and she sticks mostly to the crowds, only finally diving into the forest when she's exhausted the option of asking around every public space if they've seen a particularly grouchy troll with two different colored eyes. The general concensus has been no. Finding him in the forest seems unlikely as well, but she isn't going to set foot in that elevator until she's sure she has at least tried everywhere. The part of her that know that he could handle himself is at conflict with the part of her that, from her perspective, has just watched her childhood friend seriously injure him before killing her. She owes it, at least, to the troll who saved her life to begin with. ]

[ From her rigid back to her tightly locked knees, her body language is plain enough that she doesn't need to be giving off any more hints to how she's feeling. But putting off the question isn't going to get anywhere. ]

[She pauses, shock feigning over her face for a moment before she brushes some of her hair behind her shoulder, revealing her mark. Then there's a hurt look...]

...oh. Now that you mention it. What's it like, in the time you're from? Do you have a lot of trolls on your ship?

It was terrible, I made a lot of mistakes, especially to someone very important to me. I'm afraid there was not many trolls on my ship at all and after everyone died it was only myself.
