Unlike last time, Izumo didn't freak out about the latest announcement of doom and gloom. In fact, she was rather reserved about it, aside from a feeling of moroseness she couldn't really pin down.

And yet, something pushed her into acting on something she'd been putting off too long.

So, she sent a message to someone, asking them to meet her outside the villa. And so she sat, waiting, petting her cat Noukimi as she did so...

It was strange, to say the least, to receive a summons from Izumo of all people. They had never exactly gotten along, after all. But it wasn't so bad, really. Not like it had been. Taking away the school environment had done a lot to calm the both of them down, he thought.

Still, better not make her wait too long.

So Bon stepped out of the villa, spotted her quickly, and headed over to meet her, inclining his head a little in greeting but not bothering to take a seat. "Izumo."

"... Hi."

Izumo set Noukimi down, and walked towards him, crossing her arms. "Um... thanks for coming..."

"Don't mention it." To say that this was more than a little awkward would be an understatement. The most they ever spoke to each other even back home was to bitch. Things had been dropped here, of course; there was no competition in school, nothing to fight.

Just... peaceful. And weird.

"So what'd you want?"

"..."

Izumo sighed to herself, clenched her hands into fists, and resolved to just say what she wanted to say.

"I wanted to apologize to you!" she snapped. "I... I've always treated you unfairly for no good reason! From the moment we've met we've just butted heads, and... I think we should start over, alright?!"

... That was a lot more aggressive than she wanted it to be.

Well that... wasn't what he expected. Was she extending the proverbial olive branch, here? Not that he was against the idea or anything, but he hadn't exactly expected to hear the words come from her mouth.

He stood there for a few moments and just sort of looked at her before he finally folded his arms over his chest and ducked his head down a touch. "What, are you still stuck on all of that? Then again I guess I've had more time here to get over trivial bullshit from back home. Consider it put behind us."

Honestly, he hasn't given their rivalry or whatever it was much thought at all the last few months. He supposed it was natural, given how long now it's been since he was removed from that environment.
