[And that sure is her managing to pick up before it goes to the magical voicemail!]

What's up, Marcy?
spacecase: (YAY!)

[personal profile] spacecase 2013-06-17 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure! I sure do have time, I have it coming out of both sets of ears that's how much time I have!
spacecase: (oh hi were you naked?)

[personal profile] spacecase 2013-06-19 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, ready or not, here I come!

[As in she just zaps herself up to the floor right after saying that.]

Maaarcyyyy!
spacecase: (o wait i am the ceiling witch ok)

Yep! [And poof! There's the magical sylladex popping out her brand new Eclectic Bass to show her.] This is my baby all born anew.

[As for the sparseness of the house or Marceline's comment that she arrived quickly, ahhh she'll just pass over it.]

What're those papers for? Writing songs?
spacecase: (this is my marceline impression)

[personal profile] spacecase 2013-06-25 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
Aww, you would have made one for me? That's so sweet!

[Sure that's one way of putting it, Jade.]

So Ooo is where you're from? Can't say I've ever heard of it...[and she'll just float on up next to her to be a nosy doggy.]

You say bass they'd probably think a fish.

Hmmm...

[Jade swings her bass over to her and begins to strum out the notes of "I'm Just Your Problem, following the lyrics with her voice. She's shaky, mostly because she's nervous. Being able to talk to people is a lot easier than singing with them.]
spacecase: (hush hush eye to eye)

[personal profile] spacecase 2013-06-25 06:59 am (UTC)(link)
[That does inspire confidence! And she's able to ease herself into the mood of the song, enough to where she looks sad at "why do I want to?"]

Why do I want~ [The finish!] To?

[Hmmm...Jade's doing that thing again where she's thinking too much.]

You wrote this for someone, didn't you? [But then she realizes she's prying.] Oh no, I hope I didn't fuck it up!
spacecase: (...Yeeeeeah.)

[Oh Marcy, u lying vampire troll.]

Mmm...I have never written songs before. I've collaborated on beats with my friend, but never anything lyrical. I already mentioned that, though so I'm...I don't know nervous? About throwing myself all into it.

Okay.

[Srsface!]

I'm ready to rock.
spacecase: (puberty sucks)

[personal profile] spacecase 2013-06-28 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
[Well you do realize that faced with something more ROCK she's going to add howling at the end right. The quicker pace of the notes isn't helping with this.

She can't even help it, it's just a finish of "Gonna rip you limb from limb here" that makes her go AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!]
spacecase: (o u)

[AND ONE WEIRD LITTLE RIFF LATER--]

I told you I was ready to rock!
spacecase: (talk about it somewhere only we know)

All kinds! I don't favor one genre in particular, actually even if I didn't I'd hear a little bit of everything from my friends anyway. Off the top of my head, a band I really like is the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
spacecase: (Who were you expecting--Santa Claus?)

You will have to introduce me to some punk rock, I have a bit of trouble distinguishing what's "real" punk rock and what's just some post-punk era hipsters trying to be cool.
