A small step. A deeper one. You can see directly a red-haired 170 centimeters tall guy wearing a high school uniform is walking through the streets, while reading a paper, the welcoming brochure, that is. From his looks you can tell that he is a newcomer, though he is not that soaking wet again, since he came here a few days ago. While reading the brochure, he seems to be quite observant with his surroundings, watching buildings and people he come across to.
It.. Just seems weird to him. It is exactly not the place he came from, the building style and the clothing of the people around him are just not familiar. Even though he already read most of information he needed for this place, it seems to be out of his expectations, coming into a whole new world he never actually imagined. An underwater city? That is just, ridiculous for him.
Despite all of that, he seems to have controlled himself well, and became calm and collected instead. As expected from him. He then came across to the great Lamufao, a monument he was seeking for a while. Without hesitation he walked towards it, and touched it. He felt a strange breeze around his body, and it really rejuvenated him. So the brochure was really talking the facts after all, he thought.
"Interesting..."
He mumbled. Refreshed, he observed the Lamufao for a while, then turned his body around, and started to think this all over. He wanted to ask some people, but since it was stated that the people around here seems to ignore questions, and he can't really segregate foreigners and native people, he decided to take a passive actions to see whether some other foreigners would come across him and see if he can gather information from them.

But his clothing is just weird for Akashi. Is he a cosplayer? Maybe, or maybe not. Akashi seems to hesitate for a while, but then decided to follow his intuition and come to him.
"Excuse me, are you a foreigner?"
It's better to ask than standing like an idiot, he thought.

"I suppose you're new to this place as well? I just came here and are searching for information about this place."
Akashi lowered his body to gain closer contact with him.

There's no logical explanation about this. Asking the flowers might be absurd for Akashi, but considering these weird phenomenon, maybe even the most impossible things can happen.
"Do you talk to them?"
no subject
no subject
"I see. Must be fun having flowers as friends. What do they told you about this place?"
no subject

Akashi counted flowers as "native" here so he doesn't expect much from them. But he might get information about him, then akashi might know more about foreigners here.
"By the way, where do you came from?"
no subject
"Me? I'm from the Barsburg Empire. And you?"
no subject
and seriously? Barsburg Empire? Well sounds really unfamiliar to Akashi, but then he calmly answers.
"I came from Kyoto, Japan. Do you mind telling me where your empire located?"
no subject
And where Akashi comes from sounds just as unfamiliar to Lab.
"Well... it kind of controls most of the world..." So If you were from his world, it's impossible that you've never heard of it...

Stepping over to him, Chizuru bows her upper form before she speaks.
"Hi, there. My name is Chizuru Yukimura. Do you need any help..?" she asks, offering. If she's mistaken and he's actually a local, she'll be able to tell immediately from his response.
no subject
Since she was the one who ask to help, it's impossible for her to be a native here, so the only possibility is she's a foreigner, just like him. Glad that actually someone really come over, he responded with ease.
"I'm Akashi Seijuro. And yes, I just came here a few days ago and I'd like you to give me some information about this place, judging from your action, you must be a foreigner like me, correct?"
no subject
Akashi's small smile is mirrored by a larger one from Chizuru, as the girl happy to talk and help out someone else.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Akashi-san."
The girl bows her upper form again.
no subject
Akashi is quite impressed with her politeness, and moving on, he try to get to his main purpose, gathering information.
"So I see you are a new comer too. What have you learned about this place so far?"
no subject
Suddenly, the girl bows her upper form in apology. She doesn't say why, but she's aware that three weeks or so of being here and not having learned much beyond what the initial letter said is .. kind of disappointing. It's just been ridiculously hard for the girl to adapt.
no subject
"You doesn't need to bow every time.
And you said you came from an earlier time. Which era do you exactly came from?
Well coming here for me is beyond my expectations too, but after reading and try it myself like touching this lamufao it seems that they are for real."
no subject
"I come from the year 1869," Chizuru replied, and then looked to the Lamufao. "Oh, yes. I have touched it too. When you feel what you do.. it's hard to deny the letter."
Chizuru raises her fingertips to her chin in thought, and then nods.
"I do know that you can only stay at the inn for a week, and then you must find your own residence. Perhaps you should work on that?"
no subject
"1869?" Well, that was quite unexpected. "I guess we came from 2 really different time. I came from the 21st century." A slight pause. "So this place really connects different people from different time and space."
Akashi is filled with thoughts. Then looked at the Lamufao.
"And yes, that thing has a unique power, which might come handy at times."
He turn his head to her again.
"About the residence, I have looked up some of them and have signed my name there myself. I just have to wait for their approval. But I appreciate what your advise. I suppose I should thank you for that."
no subject
Chizuru doesn't have anything else to offer Akashi, but she resists the idea of apologizing and bowing for it.
no subject
Suddenly Akashi remember something.
"By the way Yukimura, have you met any of your friends here?
no subject
She smiles as she says it, happy that her friend is there. It makes it all much easier.
"I arrived several weeks ago, but he only arrived recently. If one of your friends don't appear soon, hold onto hope and maybe one day.." she continued, her tone a bit softer.
It wasn't the most comforting, but..
no subject
"I see. That's comforting, maybe my friends are here but I just haven't meet them yet."
Reassuring himself, he look up to the sea sky.
