[Kanaya's sleeping form had not moved under it's own direction in three weeks. She doesn't look any worse for it though, having been well cared for. Though while she seems fine from an outward appearance, as the spell of the coma slips away the real damage is felt.]

[She awakes slowly, fighting her way to consciousness. Her head is pounding, like she had gotten to much sleep... but the whole experience of waking up seems terribly strange. The sudden rush of realization is still not enough to force open her eyes, but it does bring a mental clarity that pierces through the haze of morning. I Was Asleep.]

[She hadn't slept in months, not since a bodyswap curse took away her undead body. Obviously something had happened, and she was pretty sure just what it was. Time to take an assessment of her situation. Maybe check the SFC for the date.]

[Slowly and purposefully, she opens her eyes to the world.]

[And then her eyes go wide, her hand dropping away from its massage in shock.]

Roxy?

One 'n only!

[ Roxy grins and promptly drops herself down onto the bed next to Kanaya so that she can give her a nice, abrupt hug. ]

Glad to see you up 'n about again! It's been like weeks. I think your hair's grown at least an inch.

[Okay... So. She's in her bed, in her hive. She's been asleep for a few weeks. And Roxy is here, with a hairbrush. And then her whole attempt to gather her wits becomes null and void as Roxy jumps her with a hug. The warmth of her touch, the smell of her hair... Kanaya's mind is rebooted firmly, and it takes her a moment to do anything but enjoy and return the embrace, holding her girlfriend tight.]

[Still wrapped in the hug, she places a series of kisses along her neck that likely surprises Roxy as much as it surprises Kanaya. She's still not quite thinking clearly, and some part of her is acting out on it's own. She resolves herself, pulling away slightly, putting Roxy at arm's reach, but not yet taking her hands from the girl's sides. It's just... so nice to touch her right now.]

How long have you been taking care of me? I mean... I hope I wasn't too much of a burden.

Mn--!

[ Well that was unexpected, though certainly not unwanted, if the little sound of approving pleasure that escapes Roxy is any sort of indication. She even tilts her head to the side to allow Kanaya's lips a little more access, and she's a little bit sad when it stops.

That was nice. ]

It took a few days for me, or anyone really, to notice that you hadn't been around, but once I did I popped on up to see what was up, since your name was still in the system. That's when I found you zonked out halfway to the kitchen, so I brought you up here!

Thank you again, then. I'm glad you felt the need to check up on me.

[As she thanks Roxy again for being so nice, she runs the fingertips of one hand down the trail of kisses she left behind. Ok no, stop.]

Uhm, look. I need to... You said I was out for a few weeks right? I have something I need to explain.

[ Oops there goes another shiver. Kanaya stop being a tease. ]

Mm? Go 'head, I'm all ears.

[She's trying! D:]

There's a reason why I glow like I do. Obviously I'm not a normal troll. I'm something else. [Cue gravity falls "please be a vampire" reference]

The closest human equivalent is called a vampire. [yess.] I'm three weeks behind on my feeding schedule and... that's not a good thing.

[ Okay if you thought that maybe Roxy would run screaming out of the room or something, you couldn't be more wrong. If anything, Roxy's face lights up and she promptly grasps Kanaya's hand as she leans in. ]

Kanaya, no, that's so god damn awesome. Well, the being what you are part. Maybe not the haven't fed part. But still. Fucking cool.

[Kanaya didn't know what to expect from Roxy, really... not that, certainly.]

I... I'm glad you're okay with this. I knew I'd have to tell you about it eventually but it never really seemed like a good time. But my hand is forced. When I'm facing the hunger, I act... differently. I can tell it's started and this is about the worst I've ever let it get. I'm afraid if I go to far I'll lose control, and I can't let happen. I'm already not acting like myself..

[Except... that wasn't exactly true. As Kanaya lifts up Roxy's hand she realizes that what the thirst is driving her to do and what she wants to do are to overlapping sets... She turns Roxy's hand over, and kisses the palm... then the fingertips. She's loving the way this human shutters and shivers at her caress, and it's not all instinct at all.]

It... doesn't hurt. The feeding.

[She looks up to meet Roxy's eyes entreatingly.]

[ The decision is made in about half a second. The thought was sort of terrifying, really, but Kanaya was in need, and Roxy could help her. It wasn't in her to just turn away from this.

...Okay she couldn't smooch her best friend's dead body but that was an entirely different situation, okay. Jane was dead. That's awkward and kind of gross. Kanaya is not dead therefore not awkward and gross.

Instead of saying anything, Roxy just smiles and turns around to put her back to Kanaya. She reaches up to brush the strands of hair around her neck out of the way. ]

Go 'head.

[She can't respond. She wants to thank Roxy for understanding, or at least nod to her, acknowledge what she's been given... but the need is stronger now than ever before. No sooner is permission given than she bares her fangs and pulls Roxy in close.]

[And yet, it's not all driven by feeding. She could have just held on to Roxy for support, but there's more than one desire pushing these events. She wraps her in a fierce embrace, one arm around Roxy's waist, the other placing her hand in the middle of her girlfriend's chest. She can feel her pulse pounding there, and the sensation drives Kanaya onward in both respects. She maintains enough control to hold from biting immediately, taking just a moment to kiss that perfect neck... before breaking the skin.]

[Feeding usually carries with it an undercurrent of eroticism. After all, it's an incredibly intimate act to draw life from another. This has at times been embarrassing to comical, but it's been far too long sense that feeling had been something she could so freely enjoy. The titillation comes from more than the intimacy of the act though. As her fangs slice into Roxy's carotid artery, there's a moment of pain, yes... that is replaced by a pleasurable wave. Something about the bite causes a wave of endorphins to flood the donor. The pain from the injury is replaced by a warmth, and judging by the way she's moving against Roxy, Kanaya gets to feel something quite similar.]

[The hand on Roxy's chest pulls into a ball, grabbing her shirt. Her other hand sweeps down one of Roxy's legs and back up before pulling her in tighter. Her first hand relaxes again, as Kanaya continues to drink into the human's vital force. The hand placement is strategic, and not ~~just~~ because of some nearby bountiful oceans. The Rainbow Drinker has never once gone this long without feeding, and she's afraid for her girlfriend. Her hand is now firmly against Roxy's beating chest, providing Kanaya with a reminder to hold back if she can. Her mind is too clouded at the moment to focus well on the pulse that's forcing the fluid into her mouth, so the percussive thump-thump of her heart is to hold Kanaya in check. ]

[Almost a minute goes by, marking the most she's ever taken from someone. While the instinct to feed is strong, Kanaya's fear is stronger, especially when she suddenly thinks she felt Roxy's pulse slow and weaken. It's a great amount of effort, but she pulls herself away from the wound, panting heavily as she draws out a piece of cloth from her sylladex to hold pressure on it. She makes no effort to let go of Roxy, hugging her tighter than ever, whispering in her ear.]

[ There's a small smile that plays across Roxy's face as she gets pulled back against Kanaya's body, and she shifts a little to settle herself in comfortably against her. The smile disappears after a moment, though, when she first feels the sharp fangs against her neck and she has a brief moment of second guessing this action. Maybe this wasn't such a great ideOW FUCK THAT oh.

Oh..

The low moan leaves Roxy before she can stop it, and her hands drop down to the sheets on the bed in order to curl into them so she can have something to hold on to. It was like every pleasure button in her body was being pressed at once, and Roxy was having a hard time not rubbing herself back against Kanaya's body. It was enough that she kept having to shift her hips from side to side, trying to ease the pressure a little.

It wasn't really working so much, if the way the noises continue to creep out of her are any indication.

The weakness doesn't even hit her. Not really. Instead when Kanaya finally pulls back, Roxy becomes a pile of liquid against her, breath coming in short little pants. Her face was flushed and her eyes closed, and she smiles, just a little. ]

[The reaction was ever so much more than she ever could have hoped for. Coming down from the haze of feeding she could now recognize just how intense this series of events was. The pleasurable feeling of the act was stronger than ever, but more interesting was just how... hot this was. Maybe the situation was rendered more potent by it's length... but more likely was the fact that it was her. Roxy. ]

[Zelda is quietly reserved, and tries not to respond to the feelings of the act, allowing Kanaya to feed from her wrist. Vriska would let her feed wherever, but always seemed a bit uncomfortable with the act. That discomfort meant that she turned from her matesprit and continued feeling from Zelda as per their regular arrangement. This time was so different, and so much better.]

[Roxy didn't hesitate, and she didn't just passively enjoy the effect. She seemed to relish the pleasure of it. Kanaya was more pleased with the way she made Roxy writhe than she was with the feeding. When she was grinding back against her, Kanaya felt good in a way that had nothing to do with the neurochemical results of drinking blood, and as Roxy melts back against her she feels content in so many more ways than just satiation of thirst.]

That was... different. Uhm. Incredible, really.

[She continues to hold Roxy, her hands absentmindedly moving of their own accord, touching Roxy lightly. Legs, arms, down her sides and across her stomach, and over her thighs. The feeding usually carried a prolonged warmth and generally nice feeling, but this might be enough to warrant the term 'after-glow'. She moves the makeshift bandage from Roxy's neck for a moment, and noticing that the blood has stopped she licks over it gently, cleaning up the excess with a slight giggle. Who knew she could giggle like that?]
