[ Apparently something fishy was going on in the caves below Vatheon.  Something very fishy.  EXTREMELY fishy.  Like, literally.  Shit smelled like rotten fish down here.  Why oh WHY was there not an anti-stench spell in his arsenal.  He was a goddamn cleric.  Healing foul odors outta places sounds like something he should totally be able to do. ]

Ugh... this is so fucking nasty.

[ Totally standing behind his two 'shields' here.  Maybe they could block the smell a little... Nope, not really.  Still smelled funky beyond funk. ]

All right, let's just go kill these fish bitches already.

[ Now if he had his gun and Materialize ability he could have nuked this smelly bitches ages ago. ]

It's not like I can use Heal and turn 'em back into hot fish chicks or anything.

[But she can only focus on Rin for a moment before turning back to Devit.]

Zombies are weak to healing, so it should kill them.

[That's how it is in like 90% of RPGs, so she's really hoping that it works here.

In the meantime she'll be trying to burn mermaids to keep them away, but is being careful not to set Rin on fire.]

[His Knock Out Blow did well to send the zombies flying, but it really isn't enough to properly damage them, and several are already back up. But rather than latch on to their cleric, they go after the one that hit them so hard.

And by "go after" I mean "throw themselves at and latch on like a bunch of leeches. Horribly smelly leeches.

Rin screams as he goes toppling over, sword falling from his hand and going skidding across the stone ground. All he can do is start shoving them off with his hands, or at least try to, but more than one takes this as an opportunity to sink their sharp teeth in to his skin.]

[ Holy crap that thing just bit Rin. This was inexcusable. That guy.. well Devit was kinda starting to consider him a friend... but more importantly... ]

DON'T EAT HIM YOU BITCH, HE FUCKING COOKS FOR ME!

[ ...Well that caught her attention. Apparently even dead fish chicks didn't take well to being called bitch. ]

Uh... hey um... HEAL!

[ a bright light engulfs both the zombie chick and Rin. The latter would find his bite wound disappearing... the former... would find herself on FIIIIRE with the holy light of fuck you. ]

Hahahahaha! YES! BURN!

[Seeing that Devit has the mermaids under control and that Rin won't be eaten, Nanaki scares a couple more back with her fire so she can run over and grab Rin's sword.]

[As soon as he's looking, she throws it at him, keeping it low to the ground so that it will skid to a stop right by his feet.]

[Well, that's better. Bite wounds really do suck and Rin was not looking forward to fighting off an infection from nasty zombie spit. But his wounds quickly heal, and as the mermaid goes stumbling away, Nanaki slides her sword to him.

Perfect.

Back on his feet, he grabs it and goes charging after the shrieking, flaming mermaid, swinging the blade in a low arch to take off the rotting tail before it can be engulfed in flames.]

That's one! Six more to go!

Only six? Bring on the fucking horde, I got this!

[ He grins and casts a few more heals, letting Rin's sword and Nanaki's fire magic finish it up. Goddamn if felt good to finally be able to kill shit! Why he was even feeling nice enough to toss a Replenish at his two party members to get their stamina back up. ]

You better get them all before you run out of magic!

[Speaking of which, Nanaki has been trying to keep the mermaids away with her fire, but suddenly it sputters out and dies. She's used up all her MP without realizing it.

Suddenly there's a mermaid running up to her, and she just screams as she punches it in the face. It's not very effective, since RPG logic, so yeah she's going to need some help over here.]

NANAKI!

[Nope, no, fuck this, there's no way he's letting her get hurt, not when he can actually do something about it. Even if he just met her he can't stand there and do nothing while some one else goes down.

Gripping his sword tightly, he barks out a single command:]

GUARDIAN!

[And in a flash he's right there in front of her just as the clawed hand of the zombie comes down on him.]
