Pascal has discovered: Sidequests!
Who: Pascal, Cheria, possibly Hubert and Minako, possibly others???
When: Morning of March 11th
Where: Hubert's House
Style: Variable
Status: Closed (at least initially)
It could have been a morning like any other in Vatheon, really. Most of them weren't that interesting to Pascal, besides her chances to experiment on something new.
But even before she'd had any caffeine, Pascal was able to tell something was off. Multiple things, actually. Her Shotstaff was missing (again), and this time, she couldn't turn into a cat. (Poo.) Stranger still, the clothes in her closet and dresser had all changed.
One-piece bodysuits, large strips of cloth, thigh-length boots, gloves... At least they'd left her scarf.
Oh, and a badge! With a button. When Pascal tapped it, it spoke. "Pascal. User ID: mysterious_groper. CLASS: Thief. SKILLS: Steal, Smokescreen, Charm, Dodge Roll."
Aloud, Pascal responded, "That explains that!", as she quickly worked out how to get the outfit together...
---
[Closed to Hubert and Cheria]

... And then went out to closer to the other bedrooms in the house. "Hu! Cheria! We've got quests to get to!"
Whenever they came out, Pascal would be fully dressed for her new job class.
"This is gonna be totally awesome, so let's get going before the best ones get taken!", she shouted with the most enthusiasm either of them had heard out of Pascal in weeks.

1/2
Especially when he was still groggy as fuck.
Messy haired, glasses-less and looking like he was about to chuck his alarm clock at the woman, he sat up and narrowed his blue eyes at her tiredly.
"What in the world are you going on about at this hour--"

"Pascal! What are you wearing?! Can that even be called clothing?! It's indecent! I truly hope you're not going out of the house looking like that!"
Way to sound like an overbearing father there, Hu.
Re: 2/2
"But it's perfect for a thief!", Pascal responded.
Which while technically an accurate answer, explained absolutely nothing.

"What are you even going on about? Since when are you a petty thief and since when do thieves need such... revealing clothing?"
no subject
"... Oh. Right. It's a new curse. We're switched to RPG classes for... These are usually a week, right? But there's quests! We need to go get the best ones!"
no subject
Sorry, Pascal. Hubert is stuck on how utterly ridiculous this is. And this coming from a guy who is a closet Sunscreen Rangers fan.
no subject
Given that they've argued canon while on another planet before...
"It's not weirder than that story from Series 2 of Sunscreen Rangers, where their powers changed to random powers from other Manco Comics series," Pascal countered. "Actually, that'd be kinda cool. One of us could end up with Troll Calibur. But check your wardrobe! Mine got entirely switched out."
no subject
ballscourage to do so."Y... yes well-- ! ... I have... completely forgotten what we started arguing about..."
Damn you woman, stop making me love you more.
"Fine, fine, I'll look! Would you just... go, so I can have a little privacy first? You can stand outside the door if you're so determined to chat with me."
no subject
"Right, right!", Pascal declared as she stepped out. "Oh, look for a badge, that'll tell you your abilities! HEY CHERIA!"
no subject
This was all very exasperating for Hubert, but he was quietly glad to see Pascal so excited about something. It had been a while, since a few curses back even, that he had seen her smile like that. He missed it, really.
But for the moment he was going to focus on getting to his closet now that she was out of the room, peeking in to see...
"Yes, I see something new in here."
no subject
"All of my clothes are gone! And replaced with ... I don't know who's clothes they are, but while they are very pretty, they're not mine!"
Actually, Cheria, they are. You just don't quite realize what's going on yet. Pascal, explain.
no subject
Almost immediately, Cheria had a red-white directly in front of her... Dressed in a much more showy fashion than usual.
"New curse! We're stuck in RPG job classes for two weeks! But there's quests! We've gotta get ready and get going, no time to lose!"
no subject
"RPG ...?"
Wait. She's heard this term before. And ... quests?
"... What kind of quests?"
Cheria is so out of her element here.

Hubert emerged from his room, finally dressed in his given clothes, looking a touch uncomfortable as there was a lack of shirt underneath his jacket.
"I suppose I should be grateful that my weaponry is still the same. But." a frown here. "Why are these outfits so revealing?"
no subject
"Sexy value increases your rate of MP gain!", Pascal immediately replied.
She was probably joking. Probably.
no subject
"So we're going to have to dress in strange clothing, go on quests, and do all of this regardless of whether we opted in for it or not? What is next with this place?"
She made a face.
"Don't answer that."

"Let's have fun with this, guys, c'mon!", Pascal observed. "It'll be just like old times, only with pettier problems!"
She already looked ready to march off and get going...
