Judging implied he cared. Caring was not something Sol normally felt inclined to do. Only thing he did then was observe blandly, drawing brief comparisons between Selphie and others he knew and had known. Probably had that same kind of attitude when not in this state. Especially when considering the attention draw.

When she finally sat, Sol fished a pack of cigarettes from his back pocket, tapping one out. He spared a glance to Selphie at her introduction, put the pack away and brought the cigarette to his mouth.

Came out easier than intended. He ignored that, instead catching the filter between his lips and cupping his hands around the end of the cigarette to light it with a small fire spell.
