Being with friends is the best thing.

Wallace felt the splash as Milotic dived beneath the water in the Plaza's water fountain. It wasn't very large but large enough for her to take some time out and enjoy the cool water on her skin. Wallace and Milotic had been enjoying Vatheon's good whether for a time now and chilling out was something all his Pokemon could do with. He let her resurface as she slid around his feet and he petted her head.

"You liked that, didn't you?" He pulled a cookie out of his pocket and fed it to her. She liked the cookies here too, he found that out a few weeks ago. Looking around, he sighed and then sat on the edge of the fountain. His legs kicking slowly below as he looked up at the blue sky.

Siegfried could not help but notice the large, serpentine shape rising from the water. Leaning forward to peer into the fountain, he ends up staring with open wonder, then directing that shocked gaze at Wallace.

"That is a magnificent creature..."

"Thank you. I'm glad you think so. She is called Milotic and is a Water-type Pokemon from my world, Hoenn. You can pet her if you like. She likes scratched under her chin sometimes." He smiled at the young man.

"I am Wallace, what is your name?"

"A... Pokemon, you say...? They come in many types, then?"

Forgive him, Wallace. He can be a bit like the archetypal ~~Disney~~ princess in his fondness for animals.

"Ah, I am Prince Siegfried. It is a pleasure to meet you." He nods cordially, then smiles down at the Pokemon. "And you, Milotic."

"Yes, many types." Wallace nodded.

"Prince? I am honoured, your Highness." Wallace bowed with respect and was surprised to meet someone royal. Milotic bowed equally just as her master had. She was extremely graceful and had good manners.

As Bianca was wandering around the Plaza looking to see if any of her friends were around, she couldn't help but spot a familiar looking person from the corner of her eye. There's no way that she can miss a pokemon like that!

"Wallace? Is that you?"

Wallace knew that voice from anywhere. Bianca. He span around and beamed.

"Bianca! Nice to see you again after our battle. No hard feelings I hope." He offered her a caring smile. "How have you been?"

"Of course not, I'm happy to see you again!" She smiled right back despite the selfish thinking.

She just was glad to see a familiar face around Vatheon and the fact that he remembered her just made things all the more better. The poor girl, she's been feeling a bit lonely lately.

"I've been okay, there hasn't been a lot going on lately so it's been rather quiet." Not really.

"Mhm. It has been rather quiet of late, I do agree." He nodded. He wondered how herself and her Pokemon were getting on. "Are you and your Pokemon doing alright?"

"Mhmm, they're been doing okay!" There was a slight pause. "They do get a bit lonely since Cheren and Hilbert went home so...some of the pokemon they know aren't with them."

Another pause.

"But that's okay, I know there's still an eevee around so they can't feel too lonely! And besides, now that you're here, they'll be really happy to see you! You want to go meet them?"

"Of course. I'd like that very much. Thank you, Bianca." Wallace nodded in agreement. It would be interesting. "I've missed you too."

"All right, here we go!" She shouted before getting her pokeball out and throwing Simisage his way!

"Hey, do you remember Wallace, Simisage? The one where we had a pokemon battle with?" As her pokemon looked at him, all he did was give a huff. "I think he's still bad that he lost..."

Wallace knew that look on her face. She wanted a battle and Wallace was all keen for giving her one. "Ah, Simisage. Of course. He is a strong Pokemon, Bianca. Be proud of him." He nodded.

He walked over and gave the grass-type a pat on the head. "Do not worry, Simisage, you are strong and will get stronger. One defeat only causes you to reflect on perfecting your battle techniques. You can win when you put your heart and soul into it." He gave them both a wink.

"Alright. I choose Ludicolo!" Wallace threw the Pokeball into the air and outpopped the duck Pokemon.

As Ludicolo came out, Simisage immediately glared at the pokemon in front of him. While the pokemon knew that one defeat would reflect on his own personal strength, he still had a lot of pride. Unlike his trainer, he was a little headstrong and likes to charge forward.

Was this a challenge? It was on! Bianca quickly knew what he wanted and let out a grin.

"It's a battle right? Okay then, you asked for it! I'm ready whenever you are!"

"Alright. Let the battle begin!" He cheered as he looked towards Simisage. "Ludicolo, use Bounce!" Wallace pointed towards the grass-type as he saw the large duck jump into the air, aiming for Simisage below.

Her pokemon quickly ran to the side before attempting to attack it. Luckily, this was a pretty big area, Simisage had no problem about trying to outrun the large duck in front of him.

"Quick, use Energy Ball!"

Oh, she was going for that move again. Wallace was ready. "Ludicolo, defend against it then use Hydro Pump!" He hoped that the water move would take some damage off the grass-type.

Simisage tried his best to make sure that he was able to avoid that attack. Luckily, he was able to dodge most of it but most of the impact did his one of his leg.

"Are you okay?" She shouted before he let out a nod. "Okay then! You know what to do!"

Since Ludicolo was a water type, she was going to take advantage of the situation right now.

Wallace saw Simisage falter slightly but knew he'd pull himself up again. Water moves weren't that effective against the grass-type. He narrowed his eyes. He wondered what Bianca's move would be next.

"You have a strong Pokemon, Bianca. Be proud of him."

"I am!" She shouted with a confident smile. "And that's why we're doing our best to make sure this battle is fun!"

That is one way to put it. The girl knew that there was no way that she was going to win against a Champion. However, the least she could do was to make it exciting for herself.

Meanwhile, her pokemon simply stood his ground waiting for his opponent's next attack.

"It is fun alright!" Wallace grinned as he looked to Ludicolo. The duck Pokemon looked eager for it's next move. Alright. "Ludicolo, use Ice Beam!" He looked at Bianca and knew this could prove deadly against Simisage.

As his pokemon's Ice Beam was making its way toward Simisage, her pokemon felt like he was a deer with headlights. He simply stood still before quickly snapping out of his thoughts. The attack was impressive but Simisage had to avoid it some how!

Sadly since he could not dodge it in time, he got a direct hit.

"Simisage?" Bianca cried as her pokemon was struggling to get up.

Wallace knew that the Ice Beam would take quite a lot of Simisage's health. It was his well-known tactic to use ice moves as well as water.

"How is Simisage? Do you give up yet or will you swap out?"

As Bianca took a step forward to look at her pokemon, Simisage was struggling to get back up.

"Are you going to be okay? Can you still fight?" She asked before the monkey let out a stare at his opponent. If he could fight, he would have. Bianca could sense this and let out a small smile. "Its okay, you can take a rest for now." As she began digging through her purse, she let out another pokemon.

"C'mon out, Mienshao! Use U-Turn!"

U-turn? She was taking that approach, was she? Wallace would be ready for her. "Ludicolo, come back!" He hoped that the U-turn wouldn't hit Ludicolo as he withdrew his Pokemon.

"Wailord, out you come!"

Now this was where Bianca was starting to worry. After all, Wailord was so much bigger compared to most of her but she can't give up just yet!

As Mienshao missed the attack, Bianca quickly switched over her pokemon. Hm, she might have an idea for this.

"Stoutland, use Wild Charge!"

Wild Charge, hm? Wallace narrowed his eyes.

"Wailord, use Hydro Pump!" He hoped that the Stoutland would take some damage from the attack. Just then, Wild Charge hit Wailord as he recoiled slightly then shook his head. He was so large that the hit did little damage but still caught him off guard some.

Meanwhile, the Hyro Pump managed to take some damage. The dog was small enough where he was able to avoid it but he was also big enough where he would be hit. That is why when he tried to dodge it, he only got hit by the bottom half.

Despite the attack, the pokemon was able to get back on his feet before attacking another Wild Charge. He'll just have to more careful with a pokemon this big.

Another Wild Charge? Wallace anticipated the attack and looked to Wailord. "Dodge and use Heavy Slam!" He looked to Bianca and wondered what she would do next to try and counter this lethal attack. Wailord went to dodge the attack but got hit on the side. He closed his eyes but then opened them again to follow out his orders.

Meanwhile Bianca had to think of something fast. Wailord was a strong pokemon and will always be a big problem when it came to battling him. She was glad to see that her pokemon was able to do some damage but how can she get her Stoutland to avoid his attack?

"Dodge, Stoutland!" At this point, she didn't care about attacking the whale; she wanted her pokemon out of harm's way! With that, he waited to see where Wailord would land first...

Wailord completed the Heavy Slam but missed as Stoutland managed to dodge out of the way in time. Lucky. Wallace frowned. "Wailord, use Hydro Pump against Stoutland!"

Meanwhile, the blond lets out a small sigh of relief. Thank goodness, she thought to herself, her Stoutland still had a chance! However, she couldn't use the same attack over and over again. She'll just have to try something else!

Of course the only other attack was a water type attack...

She had to think of something else and fast. "Try and avoid his Hydro Pump, quickly!"

Wallace narrowed his eyes at Bianca's orders. What would happen next? Could Stoutland avoid Wailord's attacks indefinitely? He doubted it.

"Wailord, use Hydro Pump and aim to get Stoutland head on!"

Bianca was starting to panic! That this rate, she might not have a choice but to switch around her pokemon. However, that doesn't matter right now.

"Dodge it!" She shouted but just like her trainer, Stoutland too was starting to get worried. There was only so much he could to avoid a big pokemon like Wailord.

"Um...a-and use Wild Charge again!"

Wallace kept a straight face as he anticipated Bianca's next move. "Wailord, avoid and use Hydro Pump!" He closed his eyes as he gave the order and sighed.

With no other choice, Bianca quickly switched over her pokemon to avoid him getting hit!

"Come back, Stoutland! Come on out Musharna, use psychic!" She's got to do something about this!

A change of tactics caused Wallace to re-think what he would do next. Musharna now, hm? An interesting choice. He would perhaps use a flying move on the psychic type.

However, as soon as Musharna used psychic, Bianca couldn’t help but wonder if she should be worried. Right now, Wallace wasn’t putting much of a fight. Was he planning something? She didn’t know but she was going to continue battling with her pokemon until it happened.

She still had a couple more pokemon who can battle but for now...she will have to wait and see.
