The first thing that Ruca noticed when he woke up this morning was that it was not his room and that he was all alone. He didn't remember how he got there and so he couldn't help but panic. Why was he here? He could think only of two explanations: either it was a dream or someone kidnapped him. After a moment, he was convinced that it was the second one and that only scared him more.

But no, he couldn't just shake in fear and wait! He had to be brave just like the person from his dreams! Thinking that way the boy left the room as quietly as possible and – after making sure that really no one was around - quickly ran outside the building.

Once he saw where he was, it took him a while to stop himself from staring at the unfamiliar surroundings. The place seemed unfriendly to him with all the strangers around, but the boy made his mind already and he repeated to himself that he isn't afraid at all. He needed to find a way to go back home. He needed to go back to his mother and father. Surely they were both worried about him.

And so, the child started walking around, hoping that he would find a way to return home.

[ Sora had wandered out of the house and was exploring this new place. He spotted Ruca, and maybe it was the silver hair that caught his attention, but he ran up to him anyway with a big smile on his face. ]

Hi! I'm Sora.

_{[Ruca blinked, surprised by the sudden appearance of the other boy. He hesitated a little, then answered.]}

...I'm Ruca.

_{[He was honestly confused and wondered why Sora introduced himself to him.]}

[ Sora's smile was wide and as bright as sunshine. He reached up behind him and put his hands behind his head in a completely casual gesture. ]

Nice to meet you! Do you want to play?

<sub>[That only confuses Ruca more. Just a moment ago he was starting to panic and now...

He shakes his head quickly.]</sub>

I-I can't play now! I need to find a way back home!

[ It wasn't as if Sora would know. ]

[Children should never be alone. So, when Washu sees a child she doesn't recognize wandering around and apparently lost, she tends to migrate that way to offer help.]

_{[He bows politely a little just as he was taught.]}

My name is Ruca... It's nice to meet you.

[She holds out her hand for him to take.]

Then come long Ruca, lets see if we can find your parents. If we can't I know a place you can stay until we do.

<sub>[Ruca hesitates. Haven't his mother always told him that he shouldn't trust strangers? But this lady is trying to help him... so maybe he could trust her.

He ponders this for a while, before timidly taking Washu's hand and nodding.]</sub>

[She smiles as he takes her hand. Washu gives it a reassuring squeeze before starting to walk with him at her side.]

Now why don't you describe your parents for me? It might make it easier to find them if we could give people a description.

Um... Mother is very pretty and has blond hair and.. Father looks a little scary sometimes and his hair is the same color as mine.

_{[It's all his fault... he wasn't paying attention! His father would scold him if he was here...]}

Sniffling, Lloyd tries to scrub them back.]

[Another sniffle. He's trying not to cry, but it hurt. He wishes mommy or daddy was there to kiss it better and give him a hug. But they're not... Just this other kid.]
