Naminé's Birthday Party!

It's getting late in the day when Roxas calls up Naminé to tell her to come to the park. It isn't exactly a surprise party, unless Naminé, like Roxas did before, has forgotten anyone was planning on throwing her one. And the set-up is intended for something a little smaller and more intimate, away from the New Year's crowds, so as not to overwhelm the guest of honor.

With the help of some magic, the pond has been frozen over, the perfect spot for a little ice skating. There are a collection of ice skates available, hopefully enough to cover the foot sizes of the guests.

Nearby, a table is set up with drinks and various fruits and sweets to munch on. Naminé's own ice cream cake is stored safely in a cooler until the proper moment. Instead of chairs, a few blankets have been spread by the edge of the frozen pond for people to sit on and enjoy the food or watch the skaters.

[Said birthday girl was extremely happy, she was walking around in awe of the decorations. Really it wasn't much, but it meant a lot to her. She couldn't help but smile at everything that was going on.]

[Really she had no words, even if she knew about the party. It was still very exciting to walk around.]

[Roxas smiles, watching her and the expression on her face before he approaches to greet her.]

[Namine turns around, looking as though she just got the best present for Christmas. She quickly nods.]

I really like it, Roxas. Thank you so much.

[He scratches his head awkwardly.]

[Really, she didn't know many people, and she already felt bad for Roxas throwing her a party.]

[ Sora came up to Namine and stopped short. He wanted to offer her a hug, but as with most girls he always felt a little awkward doing it. The grin on his face was infectious as he handed over a small, poorly wrapped gift. ]

I should probably wait to give this to you, but since you're here...

[Namine snapped out of her little world and turned around to find Sora. She couldn't help but smile, though it slightly faltered when she was handed the gift.]

You didn't have to get me anything, Sora...

sadly I think that's more my fault than anything |D;;;

[ Sora smiled and rubbed the back of his head a little awkwardly. ]

I thought maybe it could go with the sketchbook I got you for Christmas.

[Her smile returned to her face as she looked down and opened her present. Excitement took over when she saw the watercolor set.]

[ Nope Sora's gotten into the cookies. He's nibbling on one and eyeing the other snacks that were brought in. ]

Ice Skating

[So Namine has already figured out how to put the skates on, now she's waddling her way over towards the iced pond. For a few moments, all she really does is stares at the ice before slowly putting down her foot and then slowly the other. She manages to keep her balance, but now she's at a loss as to what to do next.]

[Christmas is just passed, but she still gets birthday presents, right?]

[Given how Shirley was a little busy making all the other gifts for other people, she felt a little ashamed that Namine's gift was so...plain compared to the others. Idk, does she like plush dolls?]
