♚ meeting.
Who: Ciel, Amane, Sebastian, Katsu
Where: Phantomhive Manor (aka Speculum House #2)
When: Backdated to the 24th
Style: Either!
Status: Closed
As agreed upon, it's one o'clock. Ciel waits in the parlor of his home, passing time by playing chess with himself. Sebastian will bring the refreshments when the guests arrive, as is proper. Truthfully, despite being informed of the situation and having conversed briefly with Amane, Ciel has very little idea what to expect. It isn't a feeling he enjoys, going into a situation blind. Still, it can't be helped.
When today is over, he'll have all the information he needs with regards to his current situation--and have reached a suitable agreement. He's sure of it. For now, he'll be waiting right where he is for Sebastian to answer the door.

There's nervousness, hidden behind her calm and collected mask. She would be discussing with a boy who's willing to enter into a demon's contract. From their brief conversation, she suspected their talk will be about contracts.
However it went, Katsu is with her right now. So it would, potentially, end well.

... He doesn't like thinking about these kinds of things. But there's something about this demon that just... sets him on edge. Maybe it's the politeness - most demons he's met just aren't that polite.

The knock calls his attention however and not even five minutes pass until Katsu would find the door opening. Of course the demon looks as posh as ever in the suit and tailcoat. Nothing really changes in his formality. Perhaps even moreso now that he's found himself back in employ. "Mister Aoki and Miss Kuzuryu. My master is expecting you." he finally says, greeting them both with a short bow to the waist as he steps aside to let them both in.
"If you'll both kindly step this way, I'll show you to the parlor."

"Sebastian," he says, glancing towards the set; that's the only indication he needs to give that the demon should move it out of the way--hopefully to make room for whatever he's been making in the kitchen. The scent Ciel's been catching since just after lunchtime is a pleasant one. "My butler has prepared a small repast for the occasion of our meeting."
But then again, everything Sebastian makes is guaranteed to please.

The manor seemed rather impressive, from what she managed to see so far. That, she admit.

... He's never been the best at reading people. He has his suspicions on what this meeting is going to be like, though he wants to assume the best. He's nervous, though. He doesn't like these kinds of meetings.

Of course, he returns a few minutes later with the fruits of this afternoon's labor: a delicate set of hand crafted yokan, the small thick squares of jelly in variations of transparent light pink, pale yellow and white over a common distinct opaque purple base. He sets these out before pouring three separate cups of tea, taking a step back from the table after these preparations were laid before his master and their guests.
"In consideration for our guests, I've prepared a selection of traditional Yokan with infusions of either white peach, lychee or apple. Accompanying this is a local blend of Matcha-iri genmaicha. " he finally says, the empty tea tray held to his chest. "I hope this selection to your liking."

Leave it to Sebastian to prepare a snack suited specifically to the guests. Ciel has his misgivings about it; it doesn't look all that appetizing. But he hasn't known Sebastian's cooking to fail him--at least, not since very early on in their relationship. So he gives it the benefit of the doubt as he sinks his fork into the corner of a pale pink square. And just as he'd anticipated, the taste is satisfactory, even if the presentation leaves a little to be desired. He nods once, to indicate that it meets with his approval.
"Stay, Sebastian." Is the next clipped order he gives. It's important that the demon participate in this meeting as well, given that it is due to him that it's needed in the first place.
Returning his attention to the pair seated across from him, the earl begins. "I will not demean you, Miss Kuzuryu, Mister Aoki, by waylaying you with inane conversation. We all know perfectly well why we are here." A pause for a sip of tea. Also passable. "It is my understanding that you and Sebastian have made an agreement with regards to the wellfare of this city. Would you mind outlining for me what this agreement entails?" Of course, he's already heard it from Sebastian--but he wants their take on it.
no subject
"Should it come to it, we would aid each other if the city or civilians are under danger." A simple agreement, but it's something she cares about. Amane picked up the yokan to try it. It's...quite wonderful. If her attention wasn't on their meeting, the priestess would enjoy it more.

Katsu picks up the yokan and nibbles on the edge of it, without taking his eyes off of Ciel and Sebastian. He does pull his power back a little, or tries to. It's still not something he can control well. But he can't concentrate on the food when there's this discussion going on, so he puts it back down.
"I don't have any intentions against the people here either, so those goals, at least, line up."
no subject
Perhaps times were changing while he was away. But then Katsu didn't at all seem from the same time he'd left.
Amane, however was a completely different story entirely. She had been the reason for his interest, truth be told. Jezebel. A name he hadn't heard in a while. Of course, he would wait until all this was over to report his findings.

After another bite of yokan--yellow, this time--he continues, "I can think of no reason why I would wish harm on this city or those in it." Unless, of course, by some strange stroke of luck, those responsible for his torture are here; but unlikely as it is, that might be a bit too much to ask. "As such, this agreement stands with my approval." And if it has Ciel's approval, Amane and Katsu can be assured that Sebastian won't be breaking it.
...well, not unless Ciel decides that it is in his own best interests to do so. But as things are currently, that wouldn't be beneficial.
"Is that all the three of you discussed previously?" Just sipping his tea, now.
no subject
"We also discussed about contracts." A s way of saying it, considering what it means to them all. She take a sip of her tea, watching Ciel and Sebastian before continuing. "Demon contracts."
no subject
"In our world, summoning was made very easy by my -" He looks over at Amane before looking back at Ciel and continuing. "My cousin. For a time, all someone had to do was activate a program on an altered game system... hang on." He rummages in his pockets and pulls out his COMP. "This one doesn't work anymore, but the first time I activated it, a demon came out and I had to defeat it to form a contract."
