Got you stuck on my body, on my body like a tattoo

Who: Dave Strider and you
Where: The villa where he lives or around town
When: Throughougt the week
Status: Open
Style: Starting Prose but I'll follow.

Despite being acutely aware about everyone getting stuck to each other and even getting in GHB's hair, Dave didn't really bother to take any precautions. And it definitely didn't stop Dave from doing stupid shit or getting in peoples' business.

Perhaps if he'd actually gave a shit to try and make an effort, he wouldn't be getting himself stuck to people in relatively compromising and awkward situations. It would have made this week infinitely less awkward, but Dave wasn't exactly the beacon of intelligence all the time. Didn't help that Dave had the ability to forget things fairly easily, so accidentally making physical contact with people ended up being a thing. He'd just forget that he shouldn't touch people and only remember after he got stuck. First world problems.

Yeah, that is definitely who he thought it was. This is just wonderful. Dirk is never going to flashstep without being 100% certain of what the people around him are doing ever again. Just as soon as he's not being crushed under the alternate universe version of his bro.

When it feels like he can breathe again, Dirk tries to shift back, or at least get his face away from Dave's... but apparently that isn't going to happen.

"Looks like it." It is difficult to maintain a straight face when your face has become attached to someone else's, Dirk is learning at the moment. He does his best anyway. "The curse right now is causing people to stick together. It shouldn't last too long, but that's what's happening."

Dirk twitches the slightest bit and takes a careful breath. "Now, let's just get up off the ground first. This is slightly more difficult to deal with when we're lying on the ground."

"It already started terribly, it can't get much worse than this." The only way it can get worse is if someone sees them, in Dirk's opinion, and that chance only becomes more likely the longer they stay lying here.

With that in mind, Dirk carefully starts to lever himself up, moving slowly so that Dave has a chance to move and the two of them won't be unbalanced in the process.

Shrugging is kind of useless, at the moment, since Dave can't exactly see it, so Dirk doesn't bother. "Find somewhere to hang out until the curse decides it's had its fun. This one doesn't seem to be lasting the whole week." At least he can say that. Roxy's already gotten stuck to him this week, because she can't stop touching people, but at least that one happened in their own house.

Speaking of which... "You got anywhere in mind to go?"

"I don't think Roxy's home. As long as we can avoid her, we're fine." He doesn't mind Roxy knowing that he and Dave interact- it's not like they can avoid it being known, after the way she shoved them into talking the first time- but she would get so much blackmail out of this that he's afraid to even contemplate it.

Because friends are always a bunch of butts. Dirk should know, his are too. But he has less of them living in the same place. "The universe doesn't like us, is why. C'mon, it's this way."

It'll be difficult to walk around like this, but no more difficult than getting up in the first place was.

Wow, the floating makes this about 50% easier. Dirk picks up the pace, heading toward the coral corral with all due haste. "You shouldn't be. At least this one is only embarrassing, not traumatic."

"Part bird? Sounds like one we've had. I got turned part cat, it was anime as hell." He actually hadn't minded that much, except for the part where Roxy had taken it upon herself to start grooming his hair.
