What: Ky might have gotten drunk with Zelos, and now he's going to sit in the sun.

Status: There might be attempts at hugs with CR where there wouldn't usually be, since Ky is a cuddly drunk.

[Ky knows better than to try to do a patrol of any sort when he's drunk. It's the only firm time he'll willingly relieve himself of his duties, and for that reason it doesn't happen often, hasn't happened in the nine and a half months he's been in Vatheon. Now that it has, it feels kind of pleasant, like he's letting go of everything that's happened over the past month.

He takes himself to the island, where the sun feels wonderful on the fur of his ears and tail -- the parts of him that aren't human, he reflects -- to sprawl out on the ground on his stomach and bask it in, for a little while. He's more than open to conversation if anyone comes upon him, although for now he's actually quite self-content, one hand absently petting his own tail while he watches the water.]

[Don't smile when you're a fox, Ky, it's too cute! Resisting the urge to reach out and scratch his ears, Zelda holds her hand out.]

Please let me see your arm, then.

[He's not going to not be a little happy just because it makes him cute. (Although he might if he knew.)]

[He'll still go through with it if it will, but he wants to be prepared.]

Not at all.

[Unlike setting his arm in the first place, the magical healing won't hurt in the least. He'll probably feel tired and hungry afterwards, though. Holding her arms out, she calls on her magic to help his bones and the tissue around them knit back together. A bright golden light pours out from her hands and surrounds his arm. The feeling isn't unlike having fingers running down the back of the neck, not at all unpleasant but definitely startling. She tries to confine her magic to his arm as much as possible, but she'll definitely be killing his buzz despite her best efforts.]

[Rude, Zelda. Very rude. Taking away the one time he's been drunk in the past year... Whatever. It isn't like it was hard for him to relax or anything.

To be honest, he's far more appreciative of his arm being healed than concerned over the lack of the buzz, although it is noticeable how he stiffens up a bit again, watching her magic as it works.]

[He'd feel a warmth wash over him as she completes the healing. Zelda reaches under her skirt briefly to pull out a very sharp looking kunai. Impa taught her to never, ever be caught unarmed.]

Would you like me to remove your cast? I believe that should have done the trick.

[He looks away, awkward and immediate, when she reaches under her skirt.]

If it's healed, then yes. Please.

[Oh honestly, Ky. She'd been pointing her legs away from him anyway, there's no way he could have seen something! Zelda carefully starts cutting the cast open. It seems as if it's quite a bit of work without a cast saw, but she has a steady hand and knows where to cut. She is the one who put the cast there in the first place, after all. Once it's safely off, she takes his hand and rotates his wrist slightly, pushing his hand back. If he is healed, he shouldn't feel much of anything with the action. If he's not, he'll hopefully be able to tell her where it still hurts.]

[He rotates it some more, looking a little surprised. It isn't that he doubted her, he just wasn't sure what to expect from the magic, and feeling it is something new. Good as new, though, and that's a profound relief.]

Of course. Be sure to eat a big dinner tonight, you likely used a lot of protein and calcium in the healing process.

[She's never going to know how she managed to get along without the medical knowledge she picked up here in Vatheon. Sure, she was capable of healing before, but her abilities have improved dramatically now that she knows more about the body. Her eyes flick up to his large fox's ears, amused at how easily she can read him now that he has them. She won't mention it, though.]

[Not that he needs to be told to eat, but he supposes it's for the benefit of telling him what to make sure he replaces in his system..]

[Which means leaving his spot in the sun. Gosh, Zelda, no fun for him at all.]

[Don't be so sensitive, Ky! Yes, she just wants to make sure he includes meat and milk. She's acting as a healer right now, and she'd like it if she doesn't have to do so again.]

That should help. Please do tell me if you feel any pain in the area where the break was, it could indicate that I need to heal it again.

[If he's got a hairline fracture leftover and goes out training and patrolling, it's sure to just get worse!]

[He's like that to be the case too, actually. But when it comes down to it, he really didn't have any choice over being injured, and he'd rather not remind himself of that fact.]

It doesn't hurt now. How long should I keep an eye out for if it does?

[So maybe he's a little unsure on how healing or even modern medicine work.]

If you don't feel anything in a couple weeks, any new pain is likely to be a new injury entirely. It's really no trouble at all for me to heal someone, so there's no need to be reserved on the matter.

[Did people really not know about magical healing? If Ky didn't, maybe she should make an announcement during the next arrival cycle...]
