It's not exactly unusual to see Roxas in the vicinity of the ice cream shop. He's probably one of its top customers, aside from the not-having-to-pay part.

What is a little unusual is that he's eating... strawberry ice cream. It's gotten to the point where he doesn't have to say what flavor he wants, but this time the lady at the counter gave him something different, remarking she heard it was his favorite. He's overheard a few similarly strange things from the natives, but mostly harmless stuff about people he doesn't know and he dismissed most of it.

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with trying new things, right? Actually, strawberry's not bad.

((Another rumor going around which Roxas hasn't heard is that he likes kissing folk. Vanitas sure got all the important parts out of that diary. So be forewarned your character may be subjected to kissing... on the cheek.))

He showers, too, okay. Shut up.

Roxas looks up at Axel once they're both through to their apartment. "So you're just going to sleep?"

And that's all that matters, Roxas.

Once he's shut the Portal behind him, Axel immediately turns towards his bedroom and starts to head on over. "Yuuup. Maybe you should, too. Keep yourself out of trouble." And don't go kissing him while he's sleeping, obviously, though there's no way Axel can really prevent that.

"I should be okay if I'm on my own." He'll just go hang out in his room for a while.

And no, he's not going to kiss you in your sleep, Axel. Although it's probably good you started walking away before the phrase 'goodnight kiss' popped into his head.

"Well, if you need anything, then you know where to find me, champ." Which is why he'll leave his door open. Yes, he's even going to risk potential kisses just to make sure you're going to be ok. So off he goes into his room with another stretch and the next sound Roxas will hear is Axel flopping down like a sack of bricks on his bed.

Yes. Nap time is good time. And it's actually a little more comfortable when he's not wearing anything under his coat.

"Right."

At first Roxas doesn't even notice him leaving the door open, because he's already turned to head into his own room. He only sees a while later when he gets up for something and passes by and oh... He stops for a second in the doorway. He's seen Axel asleep before, of course, but he's never watched him sleep. Maybe it's some part of the curse that leads him to do so for a little while. Maybe.

...is it really comfortable to be sleeping in your coat like that? Axel is such a weirdo.

I watch youuuuuu, fast asleeeeeeep.

Axel's been asleep for nearly an hour now, curled up and surprisingly quiet without a blanket to cover him up. Yeah, as long as he has a pillow or something remotely comfortable for him to rest his head on, then Axel can sleep well enough. Heck, he could have passed out on that bench if he really wanted to. So for the most part watching Axel will be fairly uneventful before he ends up turning over... and nearly tumbling out of bed. Oops.

All I fear means nooothing.

Roxas is just about to turn away and go about his business when-- Axel, you aren't supposed to fall out of bed!

He's several steps into the room when it turns out to be a near fall, but still... Maybe he should get Axel more in the middle in case he decides to roll over again or something. He goes around to the other side of the bed, climbs onto it, and tries to tug his friend back from the edge as gently as he can.

Thankfully for Roxas, Axel's a pretty heavy sleeper so a tug here and there doesn't cause him to wake up. He is, however, rather limp, so tugging might be harder to do. But after a few pulls and shifts he's back on the bed and save from harm. Roxas, on the other hand, might not be, because once he's back in the middle of the bed he grumbles incoherently and turns, potentially squishing his best friend in the process.

Mm. Nice comfy mattress.

"Wah--!"

And now Axel is sleeping on him. Um. Okay. Not that it's entirely uncomfortable, but it's going to be weird if Axel wakes up. Maybe if he can just... squirm out from underneath here...

Axel will just stay here rested on Roxas for a little while, but eventually after a little squirming thankfully he'll give and turn around again to give Roxas enough room to slip away. Thanks bestie. Not only did you help him from getting a serious concussion, but you also made a reasonable pillow.

As nice as that is to know, Roxas is grateful to end his brief stint as a pillow. He sits up, meaning to crawl back off Axel's bed and slip out of the room before he ever notices, but nope. It looks like you're getting kissed in your sleep after all. He leans down to press his lips to Axel's cheek.

O-oh dear. Thankfully he really is a heavy sleeper and doesn't do much more than twitch the slightest bit when Roxas kisses him. No, this isn't any Sleeping Beauty stuff, kiddo, but it sure is cute, yeah? With a soft sigh he shifts a little against his pillow before going silent yet again, only the gentle rise and fall of his breath moving his chest.

No, it's not Sleeping Beauty; he's pretty sure that would have to be on the lips. Anyway it's not nearly as embarrassing with Axel not even awake to notice. It was actually sort of... nice. Not that he feels compelled to do it again, but he doesn't really mind that he did.

He watches Axel sleeping a few moments longer, then gives him a quick hug and starts to slide back off his bed.
