[A young man and woman stand next to the Lamufao. It just so happens that today, the 25th of September, is their first d-- no it's not. Don't let those drenched clothes and the boy's somewhat vacant expression fool you, this is not their first undersea rodeo. Judging by the fact that they've been carrying on a conversation for a few minutes now, it's safe to assume they know each other.]

[Also they're both wearing some really bizarre pajamas. There's no way you can miss the girl in that traffic cone get-up and you really just have to wonder how the boy doesn't trip over that hood.]

Man, that doesn't get any less disconcerting the second time around. Or third...whatever. Point is, you won't hear me complaining if I just stay put this time.

[He takes off his glasses for a second, closing his eyes and pinching at the bridge of his nose. The girl, meanwhile, looks mildly disgruntled as she wrings out her dress.]

You wouldn't hear me complaining either. I really hate getting wet like this.

Oh, sorry! Here let me help with that Hold still for a sec.

[Ignoring the fact that she 'has it,' the boy surrounds them both with a minature cyclone, effectively drying them off but cutting the girl off midsentence and nearly knocking her over to boot. Once the wind dies down, she raises a brow in his direction, sure she's as equally disheveled as he is now thanks to his assistance. With a sigh she combs through her hair with her fingers as the boy gives a nervous chuckle. He is, indeed, just as disheveled as she is though he's not really making an attempt to do anything about his fly-away hair at the moment.]

Eheh...whoops! Sorry about that, Rose.

It's okay John. I appreciate it.

[She straightens her headband and smooths her dress before pulling her SFC from seemingly nowhere and beginning to type out a message.]

Hm? What are you doing? Wouldn't it just be faster to head over to the villa and let Maka and Soul know we're back? They're probably the only ones who noticed we were gone anyway since it probably hasn't been more than a few days.

While it would be easier normally, yes, we're not dealing with the most normal circumstances. Do me a favor and try not to let on that we know where we are, will you?

I have a few theories I would like to confirm, and doing so semi-anonymously would be the easiest way to do so.

That's right. [With that, a text is sent and her communicator is returned to her sylladex.] Would you like to take a walk with me?

Of course! [The boy beams and offers her his arm. Linking her own through it, the two begin wandering the dome, John occasionally stopping to look at something and Rose occasionally typing out a response to her network post.]

((ooc: Long story short: John has no idea how long they've been gone, and is judging this based on a canon update he had last time he was here. Rose isn't exactly sure how long its been either because her Seer powers have been dampened but she knows it's been quite a while so she's trolling the network because she does what she wants. We will both be responding to both posts, though Rose will likely be responding to the network one moreso than John.))

[ It's a normal day. I mean. Relatively speaking. As normal as a day when you're caught in a bubble in the middle of an ocean or whatever can be. At least she's back home in her own body and it's new arrival time and it's always so fun seeing who shows up (and she may or may not be waiting for specific someones but they never seem to appear...).

But, that doesn't mean today's a total wash.

She notices the mini tornado first, because really, it's sort of hard not to.

But then she sees who's in the tornado and oh.

Oh. ]

Holy shit it's teen mom.

[ Yep just gonna... casually say that loud enough to be heard. ]

[Yeah, Maka just...ignored the network post. She could recognize that text anywhere, and it panged at her heart, but it was plainly evident that Rose didn't remember her time spent in Vatheon. Or John for that matter, considering Rose said "we" and Maka automatically associated the two with each other.

So instead of replying with the usual "how do you do" Maka just ignored it, same as the last (sadly brief, at least to her) time that John and Rose were present in the bubble. Whichever version of John and Rose this was, it hurt to approach people that you're so close to only to have them question who you are. She has errands to run, anyway; with their new resident in the Villa more supplies were needed.

She would have to walk past them sooner or later. She knew she would. So when it happens she just holds her head high and walks past as though she doesn't recognize the two at all.]

[Roxy's outburst earns her a very baffled look from John. Despite having made Roxy along with all the other ectobabies and despite having seen Rose's mom both in person and as a corpse, John apparently has no idea who this girl is. ~~Seriously, what the hell canon?]~~

Teen...mom?

[He turns his baffled look onto his companion now. Rose what? What? This girl is older than you what is this? WHAT AREN'T YOU TELLING HIM?]

[[That catches her ears as well and she glances at Roxy, then at John because she knows he's looking at her funny. She smiles, but that's the only answer he's getting.]]

Hello to you too, teenaged mother of mine.

[[Rose watches the girl pass, biting her lip a moment. She wants to kind of keep the whole 'we've been here before' thing under wraps for a little while, but well...it's Maka. She can't really ignore her. So, instead of letting the woman pass, she grabs John and chases after her.]]

Hey! Excuse me!

[Woah what the shit where are we going? What's going on? He's being dragged away and oh it's Maka.]

[And since Rose said she didn't want anybody to know that they remembered (for reasons he still can't fathom) that must mean...]

[oh noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!]

Roxy's gotta take a minute, looking for the nearest reflective surface to make sure her hair isn't a mess before she stands up and actually moves closer. ]

Things happened and I moved out of there for a while, then it gradually just emptied out. But...recently I moved back in with some new friends I've made! I think your room is still there, although I stashed your things in your world's Nostalgia Nook...sorry.

I can fill you in now. At the end of our three year trip, we'll be entering a new session. This new session is populated by four players that we will be joining. These players are the teenage versions of our parents and grandparents.

Roxy here is my mom. In her time, however, I'm her mom.

[[She just shakes her head.]] No need to apologize. We understand. We can go get them later.

I can't wait to hear what all has happened.

Neither can I. Man I can only imagine what kinds of crazy shenanigans have happened while we were gone. But yeah, don't worry about it! At least it's all still here!

[He says that, yet part of him is not so sure. Because on the one hand, it is the Villa and it is TOTALLY home. They built it with Soul and it's the only real home they've ever known in Vatheon. The park bench and Souls's first apartment totally do not count. But on the other hand...is it still home if Maka is the only person still around? Home is the people in addition to the walls, right?]
