grand theft delicious

Who: A tiny little thief- AND YOU!
Where: Nowhere is safe
When: Friday evening!
Style: I'm going to start with prose, but feel free to do whatever you want! I love both styles!
Status: THE MOST OPEN EVER!

And an OOC note! I'm absolutely cool with multiple people replying to this, which may mean a little timeline fudging. I am cool with fudged timelines! They are beautiful things.

Really, it was everyone else's fault for not locking their doors and leaving windows open. It was the fault of whoever thought it would be a good idea to kidnap her and bring her to somewhere so weird and wet. It was Celes' fault for insisting that an adult take care of the money they scraped from fights with monsters, meaning that she had nothing to pay for food or an inn with. It certainly was not the fault of an innocent, almost angelic-looking, girl. Not even if she had the remains of ill-gotten baked goods (ones that, if she'd bothered to check, she would have learned were free anyway) all around her mouth.

Various residents of Vatheon, if they were unwise enough to leave windows open or doors unlocked, had been robbed.

There were small wet footprints trailing from the window (or the door) and tiny sticky handprints on every surface. Cupboards, containers and drawers had been opened and had someone who clearly didn't care about keeping things in order rummage through them. If there was nothing sweet in the kitchen then nothing will have been taken. But if there was then handfuls of cake would be missing, a few biscuits, a bag of sweets. Maybe pieces of fruit if the thief was really desperate.

And, on Saturday morning, someone very lucky would find a small child sleeping on their couch.

(Feel free to catch Relm snooping around in your kitchen, running around Vatheon up to no good at night or crashing on your couch in the morning!)

There was someone sleeping on her couch.

Rinoa was understandably surprised when she woke up and found a girl in her living room, sleeping on her couch like it was her own. Judging by the wet tracks, the girl was likely a newcomer, and no one had bothered (or been able) to tell her what was going on.

First things first, she's checking the house to make sure nothing else was disturbed. Nothing seemed out of place or taken, although Rinoa did notice that her leftovers from last night were gone.

Mildly annoyed but understanding, Rinoa marches over to the couch and shakes the girl awake. "Hey, get up."

((ooc: Sure! Feel free :3))

"Sorry, I don't like being woken up either, but you're in my house." She's got her hands on her hips as she looks down at her. "You must be new, right?"

She noticed the stare, but wrote it off as her still waking up, so she said nothing about it. "It's not an invitation to walk into someone's home in this place."

Oi vey, kids these days.

"Did anyone get a chance to tell you what's going on and where you are?"
