Civil conversations. maybe.
Who: Serph and Vanitas
Where: Approaching the park
When: Shortly after this thread.
Style: [there can be no other]
Status: CLOSED
[After seeing some of the little Unversed in Rinoa's broadcast, Serph set out to find Vanitas. Mickey had warned him. And while he isn't ignoring the warning, per se, Serph certainly isn't about to stay away from Vanitas.
Avoiding openly travelling on the main streets, he searches for Vanitas while transformed; demons are better at hunting, after all. But he's not hunting to kill, this time.
Serph comes across some stray Unversed -- they're quickly dispatched -- before he finally tracks Vanitas down to the park, though Serph's uncertain of his exact location. Now, where could he be...?]

I fail
The little Flood’s master could be found sitting on the branch of a large tree. He seemed to be studying something on his SFC for a moment. The critter clambered on up via shadow puddle before emerging again to fork over it’s haul. The Starfish was "pocketed" before he idly flipped through the brochure.
"Helmet boy" gave zero indication that he was aware he might have company.]
/touches
But maybe it's a good thing he left the Unversed alive.
Serph reverts as he approaches the tree. If the bright lights of his transformation back to his human form don't attract Vanitas' attention, surely a familiar voice calling his name would?]
Vanitas.
[It's still his usual neutral tone.]
<3
Vanitas’ helmet did move in the direction of the light.
Demons are magical girlsMan, you can blind someone with that. Thankfully his visor doubled as shades. ]Looks like a warning did go out about me. Was it the mouse or Terra? [Seeing as Serph knows his name now.
Can't get much of a reading from Mr. Neutral.] Can't find your way home or were you looking for something? [He wouldn't help either way.]
no subject
It was Mickey.
[He doesn't really see much harm in giving Vanitas that information. And please, he's been living here for over 5 months, he can find his way back to the base with his eyes shut. He answers the question like the derp he is.]
I was looking for you.
[Vanitas is a thing, right? Serph says it in a calm voice, and while it isn't accusatory, it isn't particularly amiable either. His gaze flicks to the stray Unversed before it goes back to Vanitas.]
no subject
That would explain why they didn’t fail in the keeping it from his eyes. Not like it mattered really. He could piece together what was said from their experiences and from what transpired a couple weeks back.
It was the last thing said that actually held Vanitas’ attention.]
Congrats. You found me. Are we done? [Blatantly ignoring the look sent to his Flood]
no subject
I'd like to know why your Unversed are roaming the city.
[His voice is still neutral, no anger or irritation in it.]
no subject
Still sitting in his tree.]
What does it look like they're doing? They are gathering whatever could be useful. [Stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.]
no subject
...Well fine then. Serph is okay with craning his neck and talking up at Vanitas. And probably also getting a good look up Vanitas' skirt while he's at it.]
Including items that belong to others?
[His tone is still neutral.]
no subject
Look all you like. Not like he has anything to hide there, Mr. Armor Thong.
How can things breathe in under that anyways?]If someone was dumb enough to let them take it. [A shrug. Yup. Totally not his issues.] Are you bored enough to want to play Twenty Questions with me or is this about the girl on the network?
no subject
Wear one and find out.Play... twenty questions? Is that a game? Serph shakes his head.]
I'd like to know you better.
[As a person, not a darkness boogeyman.]
But I also do not wish to fight you, should you or your Unversed cause serious conflict.
[Though he will if he must.]
no subject
Offering to lend yours?]And who says I want you to?
[Does he hide in a closet or under a bed now?]
I can't make any promises. [About the keeping out of serious conflicts thing.] I don't get you.
no subject
HELL NO. GET YOUR OWN THONG. Preferably from your own closet.Serph has no desire to force friendship, but not learning more about the people he shares the bubble seems a waste. And, well... Serph doesn't expect promises from Vanitas. He wouldn't ask someone to promise something like that.
He tilts his head, not understanding the last sentence.]
What don't you get?
