[When he'd passed out in that room with both Riza and Alphonse hoovering over him worriedly, he fully expected to be waking in a hospital with all that entailed. Thus when he woke up on a surface just as hard as the one he'd been on before, it made him wary. He waited silently for a moment where he lay, listening to his surroundings, but the noise which reached him wasn't any he might have expected. That got him to open his eyes which lead to yet another surprise. He had expected to see a ceiling, or at very least possibly, the sky above him. Not water.

Moving to attempt sitting up a bit to get a better look at his surroundings abruptly brought another thing back to mind that his apparent change of setting had distracted him from. His side was still very much burned and in need of medical attention as it had been when he'd passed out. His right hand also still hurt, but it was nothing when compared to his side. Collapsing back against the ground, he merely turned his head to either direction to look at what he could and it became more than obvious really that this was not Amestris.

Nor did he think there was any place like this in the other countries... which begged the question of just where the hell he was and where the others were. Unless somehow, whatever was the cause for his waking up here had somehow managed to only bring him here... which considering the lieutenant was not in sight, was a valid unpleasant possibility.

Actually...no, wait.. the blond not too far from his position.. that might be her, certainly looked like her from here. Different outfit than what he'd last seen her in, but then it was hard telling really just how long he'd been out for.]
