Who: Kratos and Colette
When: May 25th, late afternoon
Where: The park
Style: Angels keep their feelings in BRACKETS
Status: Closed
[It's with no small amount of trepidation that Kratos walks to the park to meet with Sylvarant's Chosen. Colette is a kind girl, and he's already hurt her once. Depending on what she says today, that might become necessary again. He can only hope that whatever she may tell him isn't something that Mithos finds too distasteful. There's no way to transfer the Eternal Sword to Lloyd here in Vatheon, no way that Lloyd could win if it comes to blows. He wants to avoid a full confrontation at all costs.]

Hi Kratos. What did you want to talk about?
no subject
I understand that you may be from some point in the future, Colette. If I were to mention Origin's Seal, how long ago would that have been for you?
[His voice isn't unkind, but it is a little short and businesslike. There's no need to engage in pleasantries or pretend that he's a friend to her, he's already proven that he isn't.]
no subject
Before I arrived it was already months behind me. Why?
[He wasn't brought from before Yuan put more mana into him, was he?]
no subject
[He doesn't ask her if he lives. She would have had more of a reaction seeing him if he didn't, after all. So Zelos was telling the truth... he had failed to die yet again.]
Mithos has said that you mentioned some things about Martel. In the interest of preventing conflict, would you tell me what exactly occurred?
[Surely she doesn't want to fight, either.]
no subject
She tilts her head. She doesn't want to fight but...]
What exactly happened when I told Mithos, or what happened to Martel back in our world?
no subject
[He allows himself to look just a little anxious, knowing that Colette will feel sympathetic and be more likely to answer him.
He's terrible.]
Did Lloyd successfully wield the Eternal Sword? Is he well in your time?
no subject
[She gives a small smile. Kratos was worried about his son? She knows how Zelos feels about Kratos, so she isn't surprised that he hadn't told him.]
Lloyd's fine and he did.
no subject
Good. That is... good. I cannot picture Mithos allowing you to germinate the seed, though. How did that happen?
no subject
We killed him. [She doesn't keep talking.]
no subject
[His voice quiets too, remaining silent for a few moments as he contemplates the loss of his longtime friend. What a thing to possibly have to face if he returns...]
...I do not want that to occur here. Please, tell me the details of how you germinated the seed, as well as if you united the world successfully. Mithos is not entirely unreasonable - if it all lines up, he may accept it as a possible solution. Perhaps when we return, he will not have to die.
no subject
It won't happen here. There isn't any reason for it to happen here and I- [I won't let it happen.
She shakes her head and sounds far more cheerful when she continues.]
We succeeded. The Seed almost didn't germinate, but Lloyd took off and used the Eternal Sword to keep Derris Kharlan in our gravitational field for a bit longer and then...it worked. Because of Lloyd, the Great Seed sprouted and we got a new World Tree.
And...I doubt that. From what I've heard, you don't remember what happens here when you go back. And Mithos said that he'd always choose this path so... [The Mithos that died did.]
no subject
[Though Mithos had seemed particularly upset one night... was it possible that he already knew? This could get complicated quickly.]
no subject
[She blinks and tilts her head.]
Why would I tell Mithos that? It'd just make him angry if anything.
no subject
[Picturing Colette being guarded around someone is difficult. Kratos lets out a small sigh, folding his arms uncomfortably. Not that most people would be able to pick out the fact that he's feeling that way. At most, he looks irritated.]
no subject
She nods.]
Alright, I'll try. Is there anything else you wanted to talk about? [She tilts her head at that last.]
no subject
Mithos would never agree to such a thing.]
I will not take up your time further. I appreciate your assistance.
no subject
[She smiles and turns to leave. She hadn't seen him for quite some time after all.]
no subject
[Kratos turns to leave as well. He hadn't hurt Colette in the least, but he couldn't help but feel like he had used her... again. Hopefully she wouldn't mention it to Zelos or Lloyd.]
