Ahiru threw her hands over her mouth, her eyes darting from side to side nervously. This didn't look like any place she had been to before. But hadn't Drosslemeyer just said that she was in the story? Why was it so different all of a sudden? How did she end up soaking wet? And what had happened to Fakir?

...Yeah, she was officially way too confused. "Um, Fakir?" She looked around the Plaza in confusion, from her current angle only seeing strangers wandering the area and a lot of unfamiliar buildings.

"Wh-Where am I...?"

"Let me guess, you just got here." Danny glances over at the girl and offers her an awkward smile. "Welcome to Vatheon. Need a towel?"

"Vatheon...?" If that was supposed to be the explanation nothing was clicking. Whoops.

She finally looks at herself and confirms that yes, she really was wet. Ahiru laughed nervously a little. "Ha ha, yeah, I guess I do."

He grins and grabs a towel from the rack by a nearby shop. "Here you go. And yeah, Vatheon is the name of this place."

She takes it and starts patting off parts of her jacket. "Huh. But I'm not really sure how I got here. I-I mean, everything looks really weird and I don't recognize anybody."

[When Ahiru left the first time, Rue hadn't exactly expected to see her again. Maybe she'd been hoping that she wouldn't; especially now that her prince is here. Yes, her prince...

But she isn't exactly surprised, either, to see her wandering around the Plaza, soaked to the bone like that, without a clue as to what was going on around her. So casually Rue approaches, nonchalant as possible. Listening, as she speaks asks the same inevitable question.]

...It is Vatheon. Do you not remember?

[And she'll pause for a moment, before adding:]

Fakir isn't here.

Rue! You're here, too?

[Ahiru smiles at her in a bit of relief. One of her friends was here. Because Rue was definitely her friend no matter what she said.]

R-Remember what?

Oh, okay. [She really isn't too phased to learn that he's not around but she can't help but think that's too bad. ...For some reason.

Yes, she's here, she's been stuck here for a few months now, unlike some lucky people. Ffff, but she can't complain too much, with Mytho here and all.]

Such an odd sound to hear, yet somehow Kenshin wasn't surprised as he saw the soaking young lady stumble in a distance. He rose from his seat in the plaza, thermos full of sake in hand, and walked to her.

"This is Vatheon," the samurai explained. "An odd land beneath the waves."

"Join the club. None of us came here because we wanted to."

[As a member of the welcoming committee, Renton's always on the lookout for newcomers around this time of month—and hey, wet person spotted!

Basket in hand, he approaches her.]

H-Huh?! But I-I really think I'd remember coming to a weird place like this, right?

Oh, yeah... [She takes the towel and drapes it over her shoulders]

She looked at the stranger in confusion. "Beneath the waves? Umm, where's that exactly?"

He pointed up to the bubble around them. "Literally beneath the waves within an unknown sea." He didn't have a proper answer for her. He'd asked the locals before, but they seemed to shrug off the question.

[She watches her in silence for a moment as the towel goes around her shoulders. Her arms are folded, and—she even manages a smirk, even if it is a teasing one.]

To be honest, I would not put it past you to forget.

"You just went through it." He nods at the barrier above them. "We all just woke up here soaking wet."

[HERP DERP. Just passing by. Another newcomer. SO MANY THIS TIME. He's slightly annoyed but stops to reply to her anyway. He can't leave a distressed woman, after all.]

She looked up and her eyes went wide. "WH-WHAAAAAAAAT?! But...how are we underwater? I mean, there's still air and stuff and it's dry here. So how is the water up there?"

[She looks around the Plaza again.]

I really can't remember being in Vaty...uh...this place before, though.

"Went through wha..." She looked up as she talked, her sentence turning into a cry of surprise. "Huuuuuuuh?! A-Are we at the bottom of a lake or something?"

"I am uncertain of the details," Kenshin replied. "The local residents seem quite adamant to not say."

[He cannot help but double-take, though perhaps it should not surprise him so terribly. Rue has mentioned the other girl was here before, after all. Still, whether or not he should feel such shock upon seeing this familiar face doesn't seem to matter.

There is not much he can say, but it is at once too much to remain silent.]

[Just gonna repeat the name fully for her. Honestly, how can she argue that she remembers things, and then forget something as basic as that? In the same breath, no less?
