[Day 1]
Who: Roxas and whoever!
Where: Plaza
When: Late evening
Style: However
Status: Open!
The setting didn't seem unfamiliar at first: he was in some kind of alley and the sky was dark. He was sure he'd just been in a place like that. Maybe that was why, at first, he didn't realize the crucial change.
But he had trouble remembering what he'd been doing, moments ago. Why was he wet? His coat was sopping and heavy and--
And Sora didn't wear a black coat.
Roxas froze, forgetting to wonder about the circumstances for the moment, and stared down at his black-gloved hands. Sora wasn't with him; many of the memories were there, but Sora's presence, that person he'd felt himself slipping back into, was gone. He was Roxas again. Just Roxas.
If he didn't know any better, he'd say he felt a sudden surge of joy at that realization. Of course it wasn't real. Still, a tiny smile spread across his face as he stepped out into the plaza, baffled, slightly suspicious, but still glad.
"What the heck is this place...?"

Here...would you like a towel?
[...]
You look happy.
no subject
Er, thanks.
[He takes it gratefully and starts towelling off his already somewhat unruly hair. He looks surprised though at that last remark. This is not something people usually say to him.]
I do?
no subject
Most people look a lot more upset to be here.
no subject
[He frowns thoughtfully for a moment and then goes with:]
The last place I was in wasn't so great.
[He likes Sora okay, but if you have to compare between existing and not existing...]
no subject
yet, so he just nods.]Then I'm glad you're here.
Do you have any questions about Vatheon?
no subject
[The smile comes back for a moment before fading again.]
What- kind of place is it? If you're used to people just showing up...
no subject
Well, it's a city of kidnapped people, I suppose. None of us chose to come here.
[A shrug.]
Otherwise, it's generally peaceful, except for the curses.
no subject
What do you mean curses?
[That sounds like the opposite of peaceful.]
no subject
They're a little hard to describe. Every once in awhile, crazy things...just happen. Sometimes they're harmless.
[...sometimes they're not.]
no subject
Well- I know how to take care of myself.
no subject
That's good. Usually, we all work together to survive the curses.
So if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask.
no subject
[He's. not really going to trust a bunch of strangers to help him.]
no subject
But he just nods easily, unconcerned.]
That's understandable. The offer will always be there regardless.
I'm Minato, by the way. It's nice to meet you.
no subject
...nice to meet you.
[It's not like this guy has been anything but helpful so far. He can try to have some manners.]

no subject
Right. Thanks.. for the welcome, I guess.
