[ Half a year feels like so long but so short all at once. It's weird to think he's been stuck in this bubble for over six months already. Celebrated a birthday. Been away from home and Marlene and Denzel... This place was sometimes similar to home but then completely different all at the same time. It had Tifa and the bar, and even one person had chocobos, but there were curses and time differences. And all sorts of confusing things.

Which is why he's doing what he can to keep himself busy and take his mind off of things. Today, he can be found either;

A) Tinkering with his freshly built motorcycle. It's shiny and new and he's been known to drive it around once in a while, but right now he's set up near the fountain of the plaza, cleaning it instead just to pass the time.

B) Training in the woods. He finds the surrounding nature of it peaceful and is training both with his broadsword that arrived with him from home and also making sure to keep his hand to hand combat somewhat sharp.

or C) Playing with a stray kitten in the park while he eats lunch. He found it and it called to him. Probably because he has fish, but that is entirely beside the point. ~~He's a sucker for small animals, don't tell anyone.~~ ]

[ Sora was just heading across the plaza from visiting the chocobos. He stopped and stared in awe when he saw Cloud's motorcycle. He hadn't seen it before, and there were not a lot of them, certainly not one like this, back home. The closest Sora could remember was the one that had been in Space Paranoids. ]

Whoa! Look at that!

[ Sora ran over, stopping just shy of the bike. ]

This is so cool! Where'd you get it?

[ Cloud was only slightly surprised by the interruption. Sora... He remembered his face. The one that he was supposed to have known before he got here, wasn't it?

He smiles just slightly at his enthusiasm, shrugging a bit and going to rub off some wax from the side. ]

Had it built.

Really? I didn't know there were people here who could make things like this!

[ Sora was practically buzzing with excitement. He wanted to touch the bike, but he managed to keep his hands to himself. He was leaning forward though to stare at it. ]

This is really nice! I rode a motorcycle once, well I guess you'd call it a motorcycle, but I've never done it outside of The Grid.

[ He lets the rag he's been using drop to the ground, wiping his hands off on his pants. ]

[ Just what Vatheon needed, Sora on a motorcycle. ]

Oh! Right, I forgot you wouldn't remember it.

[ Sora was still convinced that this Cloud must be the same as the one he knew back home. ]

It's part of the town security system in Radiant Garden.

[ Radiant Garden. He clearly still looks confused, having clearly never been there. He stares at him for a moment, before he gives a slow nod and goes to start cleaning another section of his bike. ]

[ Sora laughs a bit and rubs the back of his head. Man this is hard. ]

You mean it?

[ Sora looks at the bike his eyes shining a little. He did like it when he'd tried. ]

[ He gives a nod, smiling just slightly. ]

Just don't break it.

Really!

[ Sora looks really excited. ]

I promise I'll be careful!

[ That earns a smile and he leans over to grab one of the extra rags he brought out with him earlier, offering it out to him. ]

If you're gonna ride, you gotta help clean, though.

You got it!

[ Sora took the rag and went to go kneel down on the other side of the bike. ]

I'll make it spic and span!

[Tifa usually does her own training earlier in the morning, but when you run a bar with late hours, sometimes waking up at a reasonable hour just isn't something you want to do. On this particular day, it's already past noon as she's making her way back through the park. Maybe she'll pick up something for lunch on the way home.

Or so she's thinking until she spots Cloud and his tiny new friend, and she just stops. If she's lucky, he won't notice her right away and she can observe the adorable scene for a little while.]

[ Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur... He's laughing a little as the cat tries to attack Cloud's hand, moving it a little in circles so he has a harder time holding on. Scratches apparently are not something he cares about at the moment.

He's tearing off a piece of his fish to hand out to the thing when he's got that prickling feeling of being watched. He glances up, spotting Tifa, and... Well, trying not to look at all embarrassed. Cough. ]

... Been standing there long?

Not long.

[It's true enough. Now that she's been spotted, she makes her way over to join him, not too quickly so as not to startle the cat.]

I see you made a new friend.

[ He shrugs a little, looking down as the cat bats a little more at his knee. He pushes it over carefully, getting his palm latched on to and chewed on. ]

I think it was hungry.

[She crouches down to look at the kitten. She'd probably get scratched if she tried to pet it, but maybe it wouldn't mean it seriously.]

They do say that's the way to a man's heart. Maybe it works for cats, too.

[ He nods, watching as the cat rolls onto its back, observing the new comer with a tilt of its head in the grass. ]

Probably works with most creatures.

[Ah, well, she can handle a few scratches. Tifa reaches to stroke the cat's belly, but of course it's never that simple with cats, and it bats furiously at her hand before she can get there.]

Do you think it belongs to someone?

[ He shrugs a little, keeping his eyes on the cat. Part of him almost hopes not. Though that would be sad for the cat, he wouldn't mind taking it home. ]

He's pretty skinny.

He doesn't seem too skittish though.

[A true stray probably would be, food or no.]

Maybe he just got lost, or... whoever was taking care of him isn't around anymore.

... Maybe we should put up signs or something.

We could ask on the network, too.

[Ahh, kitty, you've caught her finger. You're such a talented hunter.]
