Silence in the Library, Part 2
Who: Roxas, Rin, and Faris
When: March 18-ish
Where: Library
Style: Whichever
Status: Closed
[The library certainly is a lot quieter since the retreat of the harpies. But Roxas has been here a few times during his months and Vatheon, and this level of quiet is just weird.
Trying to not to make enough noise to announce their arrival, he walks up to the entrance and pushes open the door. The quest posting said something about shadow monsters, and he can't help wondering if they'll be facing something like Heartless. Maybe even actual Heartless? He looks around from the entryway, in search of the familiar yellow eyes, then glances back at his companions.]

Faris had followed closely behind Roxas, pausing to try to flip on the light switch. Huh.
Switch up. Switch down. Up. Down. Up. Down. And it did nothing. The lights weren't going on.
Well there goes the easiest thing he thought of.]
Have a light, bucko? [They needed to see what they were going up against.
Faris wasn't the sort to wait for something to happen, so he used Blaze Rush. Using the single amount of MP he had to set fire to his sword.]

[It's a good thing Faris has any fire at all because Rin is currently fresh out of demonic blue flames.]
Damn curse took away all my normal powers...
[A fact that annoyed him enough to mention it. But that aside...]
What's with this place? It's creepy as fuck...

[Roxas doesn't really think about carrying lights of any kind. Why would he do that? At least his night vision is still decent.]
There're supposed to be shadow monsters or something. We'll be able to see better if we get those boards off the windows.

[Seriously. Shadows, man. how hard could it be?
And don't let Faris handle the windows. He prefers the fast way of property damage]
If you have any mp potions and like seeing, then I might be needing them.
[Stupid warrior's class and not having a lot of MP.] It's a library. They are pretty creepy enough on their own.

[Rin hands over his MP potions, all three of them to Faris as he passes by to go do just that.]
Can't say I ever found libraries creepy before now, just annoyin' enough to give me a headache.
[He gets a foothold on a near by bookshelf before using it to climb up to the top and get to the windows highest up first.]
Just back me up guys, okay? I'm pretty damn open up here!
no subject
[Apparently he's alone in that. He hangs onto his potions for now and watches Rin climb up.]
I'll help, too.
[You know, since he basically counts for two sets of eyes--even if he's not sure his Samurai technically has eyes? Maybe it sees by its sense of smell... Who knows. He heads over to one of the lower windows to start prying, leaving the other Nobody on lookout.]
no subject
Alright. Meat-shield it is for me. [He actually sounded rather amused by it.
Oh hello. Was that a shadow moving on the edge of light? Faris couldn't be sure, and he couldn't move forward other wise the kids might be out of the ring of light.]
How many windows are there, Rox?

Getting the boards off the windows is kind of a pain, and the wood is cutting in to his fingers, but bit by bit he manages to yank them away from the wall, and he starts throwing down boards loudly as they come off.
Soon enough he's gotten the ones immediately close to him off, and starts crawling along the wall to get the rest of them.]

[There is a bit more light coming in from the partially-uncovered window, but still plenty of shadow. The Samurai seems to catch the same movement Faris saw, and slides towards it.]
