[Compared to the only other curse Shiro had experienced so far, this one was actually pretty nice. Odd, and the powers replaced by something else entirely was a bit disconcerting, but he was slowly starting to learn how to deal with that little hang up enough that he wasn't nearly as bothered as he thought he might be.

Plus he sort of liked the clothes he had been given for it. Different, but oddly comfortable.

That aside, there was only one other problem he was having - with Kuroh out of commission, and his lack of social interaction since the samurai had shown up had left Shiro without many friends he could ask to help him out on quests that very clearly needed more than one mere mage to take care of.

But he was a friendly sort despite his past, and willing to approach anyone that might be looking a little lacking in the party department, so at any point during this curse one might find themselves unceremoniously approached by a smiling teen with stark white hair and a cheerful question.]

Hello! You look like you could use a companion! Would you perhaps be interested in joining me on a quest or two?

[ True, she isn't wearing her normal dress, instead this odd slightly armored one, but Mr Silver King, you ought to recognize her still. ]

[Oh! A familiar face! He wasn't expecting that, but it gets him to smile brightly none the less.]

Kushina-san! Good to see you're getting in to the spirit of things! I haven't really decided on a quest, but we could always look if you want to go with me?

[ Well, Mikoto is asleep, and Izumo went off with Basashi-

One quest it is then!

[Shiro offers a hand for her to take so they can walk through the moving crowd of residents and NPCs together. He wouldn't want her to get lost after all.]

[ It would probably get him in big trouble-

She blinks at him once before taking his hand. She usually only does this with a handful of people, you know. ]

[He knows, but he also would rather not incur Suoh or Izumo's wrath if anything were to happen to her.

It's a good thing he's not actually who everyone thought he was, isn't it?

They approach the quest board, a good number of people milling around it looking for their own quests to grab.]

Hm. Bit crowded, but we should be able to get to it anyway.

[ She's good at tucking herself up against tall people. Mostly because Mikoto. ]

[He really is. Shiro doesn't like him either.]

[Oh look, an opening. And up to the board they go!]

.... Cookies. Or pulling weeds?

[ At least those sound easy but who knows- ]

And off they go to find the man. Once there, they get the details of their quest: retrieve ingredients from gremlins. Hm. Maybe not as easy as Shiro was hoping for.]

[ Maybe they should have shared this earlier. Would a cleric and mage be enough to get cookie ingredients? ]

Well... that helps for healing, if we get in to any trouble. I'm a mage.

Well, no one ever got any where by not trying! If we fail, we fail, at least we can say we did it!

[says the King who hasn't "tried" in decades. But being Shiro has kind of changed his tune on that.]

Once there, Shiro stops and gives it a curious look. It sure is dark in there, but they were at least given a couple of flares by the station master.]

[ Hhhhmmmn. This would be easier with Izumo, maybe.

Only then Basashi would be here too, and a horse in caves...? Probably not so good.

She'll hold a flare and her book though. ]
