[So it's basically been about 24 hours since their break up, and with Karkat's help, both are thinking a lot more clearly on the matter. Now it's all up to them to talk it out and not fuck it up. Eridan requested for them to speak in person, it'd be easier that way, plus he definitely wanted to just see her after that childish argument.]

[So there he be, standing in front of the lake, looking down at the water as he waits for her. Kinda stupid to just say the park, when it's so big, but surely she'll be able to spot him. Not like he's hard to notice. Meanwhile, he's just fiddling with his cape in his hands as he looks at the water, he looks almost like he's concentrating, obviously lost in thought. It'd probably be pretty easy for someone to sneak up on him, no doubt.]

[ The dopey cape is a giveaway, as if the horns and the fins didn't do it for her, and seeing that his attention is elsewhere at the moment, she knows what she must do. If only she had some ominous music to do it to! She sneaks up slowly behind him, each step deliberate as she tries not to make too much noise, keeping her movements tight so as not draw attention. It's slow going, but once she's behind him...

Oh sure, that's where she's supposed to tackle him, frighten him, something. Instead she reaches out and places a hand on his shoulder. ]

[If Eridan hadn't been expecting Feferi, he probably would have embarrassed himself with surprise, maybe even let out an exasperated and humiliating sound. Instead, he just turns to look at her, almost unsure in his expression, but over all he looks happy to see her.]

I'm sorry for bein' such a fuckin' bulgesucker about all a that yesterday. Just wanted to clear the waters with that before we started underway with this whole talk thing.

[ Now is the time to slip her arms around his shoulders and hug him tight. ]

[He lets his own arms slip around her, to return the hug.]

Yeah... I didn't mean to come across like I was awoidin' you, or seekin' others for adwice. And... I guess I was wrong about you and Wris. That was definitely a mistake on my end.

[A soft squeeze.]

[ And for good measure, she squeezes back. ]

[And after one more squeeze of his arms... he lets her go so they can get to feelin's jammin' on that pile.]

[ Feferi sets to pulling more than just the pile out of her sylladex. First it's a blanket, and she scopes out a nearby tree where she lays it down, so that they can have a conveniently picturesque view of the water. Then comes the pile-- which seems to have grown. In addition to some of the usual odds and ends, it seems to have gained quite a few more bee plushies. As she arranges that, she looks to Eridan with a bit of a sheepish smile. ]

I'm just borrowing them. The bees, I mean. You don't think she'll mind, do you?
