Ending Log

[After a couple of weeks of planning and work, Vatheon is ready to end their captivity.

Team One:

The information that has been brought out during the last Station Master session is that the Scientists are south from the outside barrier surrounding the Island. It appears they are on an Island on their own just out of sight from Vatheon’s Island. There will need to be a team to get through the barrier to get to the Scientists there to, hopefully, apprehend them and bring them to justice. The Station Master wants them to answer for what they have done.

If using the Corridors were the plan, then sending someone ahead of time to run recon of how far the Island is would be a good thing to do. Going gung-ho would also be an option. It’s entirely up to anyone involved.

There is also a broken submarine characters can fix up in the old Lab.

Those are just suggestions and there are other ways to go about this as well if anyone chooses to be part of the break-out-of-the-barrier-to-get-to-the-scientists team.

Team Two:

There is the problem of Fluffy guarding the barrier. A team needs to injure, kill, or otherwise subdue the giant Mosasaur. This should be accomplished while Team One is breaking through the other barrier.

If anyone ~~Feferi~~ wishes to distract or even befriend Fluffy, now would be a good time. As long as they hold his attention long enough for Team One to break through the barrier, then it'll work.

Team Three:

Team Three will need to guard the City as well as go after the Head Nurse. This should happen at the same time that Team One has landed on the Island. They need to take out the Head Nurse and the Scientists close to the same time in order to keep one from tipping off the other. She may use curses to get the upper hand and, if her April Fool’s Day prank was anything to go from, is very ruthless.

Finale:

When everyone has finished their parts with the Head Nurse either disposed of or apprehended and the Scientists all locked up in the old Lab back on Vatheon Island, the Station Master will contact the outside to get authorities to send boats to Island.

Everyone will have a choice to stay in the world that Vatheon is part of or go back home.

During the assault

Anyone who's kept up with the planning is probably aware of Saix's role in things. Or, at least, they will be once the plan starts to go into motion. Anyone heading to the island to take care of the scientists will probably pass him by as he keeps open a swirling portal of Darkness alongside a couple of other figures. He won't often say anything, his face shrouded in shadow thanks to his hood. But occasionally, someone might have these words said to them-

"Don't fail, and make sure you get information from them."

Well, it's the closest to 'good luck' you'll get from him.

For those who are staying with him to keep open the Corridors, well, they might notice over time that he's not as usually resilient as usual. His shoulders will slump, and he'll clutch at his chest now and then.

Aftermath

Feel free to celebrate, everyone. Or heal. Both. Saix, however? Well, anyone up on the island will be able to find him, breathing hard and staring up at the moon. He's recuperating in his own way.

Another summer ended, another birthday spent in the wrong body. At least he was around friends this time, although he's not sure if any of them remembered. He might have forgotten himself if certain people didn't keep reminding him of his age.

Rationally, it doesn't seem like the time to celebrate anyway. The curse proved that the order to terminate the experiment hasn't gotten through yet, but how long is that going to last? He should be trying to think of a way to fight back or escape.

But it's only the second birthday he's ever had. Shouldn't he get to celebrate a little bit?

Roxas can be found hanging around the vicinity of the ice cream shop in indecision. Maybe he can just call some friends up for an ice cream party. Do people do ice cream parties? If not, it should totally be a thing.

[So this scientists were insisting on having a few last bits of fun with them before cutting to the chase, hm? Well, that suits Dhaos just fine. If they're still being messed with as normal - even if it seems to be a repeat - then nobody has been tipped off that they know. Still, he must admit that the first time was rather less of an annoyance than the first time. Being part unicorn had certainly had its drawbacks, but at least then he had had the advantage of opposable thumbs. He would definitely need to remember to replace the back door at some point next week. It was a shame to break it down.

Regardless of his current impediment though, things need to be done. Sadly, said things rather requiring thumbs. So anyone on the island being approached by a particularly fluffy yellow ram about 4ft at the shoulder, don't be alarmed. He probably just wants a favor done.]

Isaac was excited! Like ridiculously so. All his life he'd been interested in the occult. Demons, fairies, herboloy... you name it he LOEVED it. However in his world the limit of what he could learn was mostly limited to what he could find in the odd book or two. And the accuracy of said books were occasionally negotiable as sometimes they presented different information or even conflicted one another.

But here... here he met this awesome guy who seemed to be a fountain of knowledge in regards to absolutely everything he was interested in. And Father Fujimoto had agreed to teach him a thing or two. This was like the best thing that had happened to him since he came here! Which... wasn't THAT log, but still! It was so cool.

Now he was just waiting for him in the library, occupying his time by filling the margins of his notebook with little doodles and rough demon seals. He'd been here a while now... he was afraid of being late so he might have arrived at their scheduled meeting spot like an hour early.

Makoto was usually a morning person. Back home he had to get up early not just for school, but to help his mom wrangle the twins and get them ready. So it was still pretty early when he yawned and sat up, blinking blearily at the dim light filtering into his room. His first step when getting up was usually to head to the bathroom and splash some water on his face to wake up.

He hit a roadblock the second he got up out of bed. Or fell out of bed to be more accurate. Because his legs were gone. Or fused together or.. basically instead of the lower half of his body there was definitely a huge black and white tail thing... an orca tail? He'd figure it out later. After he was done freaking out a little.

"Uh Nagisa?!" he tried to to make his voice loud enough for his friend in the next room to hear... though that was at odds with his voice also being alarmingly high pitched and squeaky right now, "Are you missing some legs over there too right now?"

Later on in the day, much later, you can probably find the boys up on the island, goofing off and getting used to swimming with tails and considerably less freaked out the earlier in the day. Or earlier you might run into them attempting to wiggle their way to the elevator. Don't laugh at them, they're trying their hardest!

If the lighthouse still existed, then Darkleer would know where to meet up with him. It was the spot of so many of their other meetings, after all. It only felt right. Still, now there's nothing much left but rubble. He understands the reason why, he really does, it's just... He wish it hadn't had to happen.

Ah well. Things do.

Still, he goes to sit at the remnants anyway, and stares up at the night sky. There's a lot to think about. The future is getting closer all the time, and this time it doesn't bring any kind of good news.

[ To say that Shiemi was feeling sick after finding out about what was going to happen in the future would be an understatement.

Between the news of their possible extermination and the fact that this was all going to be over soon, the young woman's been a mix of emotions; scared, anxious, worried, happy, sad... she's gone through the whole spectrum in her confusion so many times that she's not sure what to think or feel. And it scares her, too...

What's going to happen to them? It's that fear that worries her to no end, especially since she's painfully aware of how useless she is without Nii-chan... was there anything she could do? What if she was nothing more than a burden at this point?

Perhaps she was thinking over it too much, but...

Either way... their adventure was going to end, right? Despite being so scared, Shiemi's taking it upon herself to wander around the Villa. Looking to say words that were left unsaid, or perhaps hoping that the knot in her stomach would come undone... even she doesn't know why she's doing this.

But it's better than doing nothing at all. ]

I'm trying out some new cookie recipes and wanted to know if you wanted to try some. Stop by, when you and your friends are able. I’m thinking of baking up a big batch on Saturday and pass them out where we met before. You really should come.

I’m sorry for calling everyone here on such short notice. I’m afraid I had little choice though and my message is not an enjoyable one.

This morning I intercepted a message meant for the Head Nurse from the lead scientists who are behind this experiment. I was able to erase the message, leaving her unaware of its existence for now but I’m afraid I’ve only been able to buy us some time, nothing more.

[He’s reaching into his pocket now, drawing out a folded piece of paper. The message for those who’d rather read it black on white.]

It said they have gathered all the data needed and are shutting down this project. They’ve also given her the all clear on eradicating all left over assets. That is to say… you.

After taking a day for himself to just... sort out his thoughts related to quite a few things, Axel heads back home late one evening and immediately crashes in his bedroom, barely moving until he finally stirs later on in the afternoon the following day. It's clear he was exhausted especially after all those nights not following a proper sleeping schedule, but now he feels... a little better rested, all things considered.

Deciding that he'd rather not wear his coat today, Axel opts for a simple tank top and a pair of jeans then walks out into the living room where he spots all three of the baby chocobos sitting on the couch together. Well... he supposes they're not really babies anymore since they're more or less the size of watermelons now. They can't burrow in his hair and they can't all fit in the bathtub with Roxas in there with them and when they try to play around on the floor they usually end up bumping into things and knocking them over on accident.

... Hm. Maybe it's about time he discussed something with Roxas.

Thinking it, he walks over to the couch to pat each chocobo on the head before he makes his way over to Roxas' room. He hasn't seen Roxas in a little over a day now, so he really should show his face.

"Yo, Roxas. You in there?"

September Mingle Log

[The mingle party for this month is slightly delayed, and it certainly isn't because Station Master had decided to wait for the perfect weather.

Today, the party is taking place on the island, where there are locals stationed out on the beach who're more than happy to toss you a kite and show you how to fly one in this breezy day. There are plenty of kites to choose from, ranging from the simple to the pretty to the more tentacular.

Further out along the beach are rows and rows of surfboards, with a sign. With those sweet waves, doesn't it make you want to get out there and ride them? ...Well, even if you don't, some locals will be quite insistent you try and look they're even willing to show you the ropes!

Away from the waves, however, is an outdoor barbeque, with locals cooking ~~shrimp~~ prawns, fish, hot dogs, skewers... anything you want. There's something for everyone, and if you want to be the cook, they'll happily shove over and give you space to be the Iron Chef of the Beach.

...Actually the party's just an excuse for Station Master to show off his masterpiece]
