Cookies unfortunately had little to do with cultural differences. A pity they weren't more similar, however, as that would solve so many problems. If intimacy or affection were cookies, then this whole kissing issue would be so much simpler to handle. Unfortunately this just wasn't the case. Kissing just wasn't part of his culture. He was a refined samurai and monk. This seemed more something Keiji would know about.

The change of scenery was nice. This past month had been rather difficult. The number of curses had increased drastically. Not only that was the resurfacing issue of kissing. It just didn't make sense to him. What was so important about something so vulnerable? Someone could easily take them by surprise and stab through the both of them, killing the two instantly.
