It wasn't uncommon to see Lady Estellise in the library at all, and that's just where she was today. She was curled up in an armchair, a small stack of books on the table to the side of her, and one of them open and being read as she relaxes in that chair of hers.

There was much to learn about this city, and a lot of literature and folklore to read. Everything was just so fascinating, and Estelle couldn't get enough of it.

And so, she stayed there, for hours on end, reading until her eyes burned, and even then.

Someone may need to remind her to eat.

With Duke, 'awkward' was always the word of the week. Or, so it seemed. Estelle marked her place in her book and set it aside, beginning to put together the fixings for a sandwich. She then looked up at Duke again, laughing a little. Sheepish? Her? Why, yes.

"I-I'll keep that in mind for the future ... but again, thank you very much for this."

She then gestured to the basket.

"Are you hungry? There's plenty there, if you would like to join me."

He seems to bring it with him everywhere, awkwardness. A blank blink at the little laughing, and a tilt to look away. You don't need to thank him.

"... If not hungry enough for multiple..." Duke will... awkwardly just... pick a spot amid her book stacks and start working on making a sandwich. He's putting more greens on it than meat, surprise? Not really.

No, not really, but she finds it interesting anyway. Estelle decides it's best not to ask, and focuses on eating the sandwich she made. Now that she was made aware of how late it was, she knew she wouldn't be able to stay for more than just a few hours longer, and she didn't have to eat much to hold her over until she could get home. Duke was definitely more than welcome to have as much as he liked. After all, he was the one who brought it to her.

Duke spends a moment figuring out how hungry he is right then, and makes a sandwich of appropriate size. There's some makings left, although it would be less of a 'lunch' sandwich than a 'snack' sandwich.

And while eating, he's going to take a casual look at all of Estelle's book titles.

Estelle, meanwhile, is obliviously eating her sandwich. She really was quite hungry.
