Shizuo had a moment to wonder why Vegeta decided to land, when he so easily deflected the punch while in the air, but he didn't have time to analyze it. He tried to brace himself for the impact, just as Vegeta came slamming into him. That winded Shizuo and he lost his footing, but was up almost as quickly as he had fallen, charging back at Vegeta with his fist.

Though he began this fight with a glimmer of rationality, that hold was beginning to slip into irritation, and then anger. Shizuo couldn't help it; rage fueled his violence, and being knocked to the ground did not help keep that at bay. His goal was to knock Vegeta down, now, whatever it would take, his focus becoming singular. With as much force and rage as he could muster, Shizuo aimed his fist at Vegeta's stomach and moved in for a powerful punch.
