The prince simply flew away from the punch, regarding Shizuo with a bit more interest. So he was capable of thinking while fighting now, was he? Back in Vegeta's own universe, he would have continued on without mercy and blasted his opponent into dust without giving him a chance to grow. Vatheon was another matter entirely. There was a serious lack of opponents here, and while being blasted by Ratchet and healing up afterwards increased his strength, it did nothing to increase his overall battle prowess. He could not afford to be out of practice.

If he wanted a fighting partner, he might just have to train one. With that in mind, he decided to stay on the ground for the duration of the fight. He allowed himself to land again. There was simply no way the human could keep up with him if he flew, and he wanted a fight that was stimulating. He didn't wait for Shizuo to regain his balance after the punch he had thrown and ran right back at him with his body hunched over and head pointed forward like a ram, ready to slam right into Shizuo's torso.
