Axel can sense the tension in the air and he can tell even before Roxas speaks that he wants to get out of here as soon as humanly possible, which, as awkward as it is, is still a relief to some degree because even in this body he can still understand his best friend. He may not look it right now, at least not entirely, but Axel really doesn't appreciate not being himself, especially when he feels like this.
